Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Back into the halls I go as once again I find myself ramming into the proverbial brick wall of not finding anything of particular use regarding information. All I've been finding are reasonably strong Shadows I needed to take down which, while the extra experience and battle information are helpful, ultimately do not point me into the direction I was hoping to find. A direction to the answers I was searching for. Sighing, I made my way back into the hallowed sanctuary of these Shadows, alone once again, armed with bow and knife. I had washed and cleaned the clothes I wore when I took that mission with the mute girl, Sayu, so they were out to dry. Back in my typical armor for the meantime, as it's helped me out a lot and I feel I could get a lot with this. Hopefully I wouldn't be afflicted by something terrible like frostbite or something equally nasty. Holy shit, I couldn't feel my arms after that one time. But now I was better. I was able to recover faster than usual, did it have something to do with Hell Biker? Come to think of it he was awfully quiet recently. Wonder what he's been thinking.
Regardless, I continued on my way and looked around in a feeble attempt to find more clues.

As I made my way around the area, I soon found myself witnessing a peculiar scene - a pair of dancers entertaining a rather large Gigas that was sitting down and occasionally clapping. That was actually the first time I saw something resembling humanity in a bunch of aggressive Shadows, but soon as the dancers danced towards me the Gigas turned its attentions to me and growled. Whoops; guess I had been spotted. Whirling with my knife and watching as both Shadows were rushing to approach me; I charged up my arm with electricity and aimed a bolt of thunder at the giant, who stumbled once the bolt connected. The dancers were not stopped though; they soon made their approach and as they did they started attacking me with a flurry of punches. Which, well, didn't do a damn thing to me at all. Realizing this, they backed off and started charging a spell of fire, to which I cursed to myself under my breath and slashed at them with my knife, but still the spell went off and I felt myself get singed by the flames.
Stretching, I found myself retreating slightly to make some space between myself and my opponents. The gigas by now had recovered and soon released a powerful wind spell that sliced into my body; it hurt but I could only feel the cuts on my arms... Regardless, I fought back hard - I launched another bolt of lightning at the giant as it fell over; though it did not fall yet. The dancer meanwhile, danced and seemed to empower itself and the giant which did end up standing up after a few moments. Stepping back, the giant started releasing piercing energy needles at me from far away, and I tried to evade them but I could not, the piercing needles penetrated my skin and melted, a burning sensation entered me and it was incredibly painful.
Growling in pain I rolled to the side and let out another spell of electricity which impacted the giant's face, and with that it started to dissipate quickly into darkness and then into nothingness, leaving only the dancers to contend with. Feeling my magic circuitry become weakened from the use combined with the attacks of the Shadows, I felt compelled to retaliate now with physical attacks. Using my bow I began pelting the dancers with arrows, and it responded by pelting fireballs at me - I was able to evade some, but for the most part, it was an even exchange. Soon, fearing the worst, I charged in and fiercely slashed at the dancers with my knife, a Blade of Fury, which, due to how weak it had become from my persistence in shooting arrows at it, became bisected from my attack, and soon it faded to nothingness.
I sighed and sat down on the ground again to look at my wounds.
