Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

By this point, Jaelyn had completely lost track of what floor she was on. Fifteen? Sixteen? Either way, the whole place was a mess that was starting to get impossible to navigate. If she could just blast through all the rubble that would be one thing, but no, someone had decided while building the damned place that having a hospital burn down would be a bad thing. So she was stuck going around all the holes, the collapsed hallways, and the barriers of what-even-the-hell-was-that. And after encountering yet another example of the last variety and immediately doing a one-eighty to check a different path, she was starting to get tired of it.

Huh. A hand. That was...kind of underwhelming. Jaelyn wasn't going to dismiss it as harmless just yet, though. She summoned Caligula and boosted her speed, preparing to dodge any incoming attacks. The hand lifted itself off the ground, snapped its fingers....and let off a laughably weak fire attack that couldn't have hurt Jaelyn anyway.
...Huh.
Well, no point trying to use fire against it, at least. Jaelyn instead directed her persona to remove its face, from which clouds of darkness spewed out to engulf the shadow. The darkness seemed to do decent damage, at least. In response, the hand lifted itself off the ground again, and then hurled itself straight at Jaelyn. Jaelyn managed to avoid and slip past the hand as it crashed straight into a wall behind her, punching a hole clean through it. ...Well, it wasn't completely weak, at least. Just completely incompetent at magic. In response, Jaelyn boosted her speed again, then just barely managed to avoid and slip another straight punch from the hand. She turned and directed Caligula to spew more dark clouds at the hand.
This time, the hand didn't even bother returning to the ground, instead latching onto the wall, crawling up to the ceiling, and dropping down on Jaelyn, fingers extended. That, Jaelyn failed to avoid, and instead she took a rather nasty hit for it. Thank the powers that be for Personas. Speaking of Personas, Caligula spewed out more darkness at it, which was starting to leave noticeable effects. It seemed to be eating away at the shadow's glove-like surface, for one. The shadow had enough strength left for one more punch, though, and launched itself at Jaelyn, catching her in the shoulder.
Jaelyn turned as she got hit, pulling her shoulder away from the hand and moving around behind it. One of her knives was in her hand almost immediately, and the moment the hand collided with the wall behind her she struck, driving the tip of the curved blade into the shadow's body and pinning it against what was left of the wall. She stepped back, letting Caligula finish her work. Darkness again engulfed the shadow, eating away at it until nothing was left.

A syringe machine, a living hand, what was next? Eyeballs? DNA monsters? Whatever the case, Jaelyn hoped that it would wait just a little longer. There were only a couple more floors to the top. There had to be. Unless the hospital warped space or something, there was no way it could be much farther. She just had to make it through the last couple, nearly impossible to navigate floors to get there. And, probably fight more bizarre and annoying shadows.
The last two had pretty much killed the creepy atmosphere of the place anyway. A syringe machine was one thing, at least for anyone scared of needles. But there was nothing scary about a hand that danced on its fingers.
