Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Because she and a bunch of other people defeated the big shadow in this area, the barrier stopping her from descending further into the sinkhole was gone. Holly had known that for awhile, but decided she wanted to explore the castle first. However, now there wasn't much more she could do there and she needed a change of scenery. It always felt nice to have a new place to explore. Right now, she was just staying on the safe path to see what was in this place. She could worry about the more dangerous parts later. Right now, she was just doing some basic recon.

This was the first time in a long time she actually had to fight more than one shadow at once. Well, it was nothing she couldn't handle even if she might be a little rusty in that regard. Her power aura went off and she set off a depowering ability on them, as she always did. Now it was time to go back to her old ways, the ways that haven't been necessary to use for awhile due to lack of targets. She charged the shadows with her knives drawn and dug two of them, one in each hand, into the drive. It squealed. Looks like she hit a weakness, but that wasn't the part she cared about. Holly adjusted her grip on her knives and swung the shadow around hitting the other one as though she was swinging a baseball bat. She was already reasonably strong. her persona made her stronger, and her empowering aura made her even stronger on top of that. It couldn't exactly be called a home run, but strike was hard enough that the magus went flying off the cliff and disappeared into the abyss below.
The drive wiggled, but was clearly having difficulty getting free. After a few wiggles, it gave up and just stabbed her with the lower half of its body. Holly winced, but the fight was still going to be a piece of cake. All she had to do was stab that thing to death. And maybe a bit more after that.

The shadow vanished and all that was left in its place was a small trinket that fell to the ground. It was always great to find a bit of treasure while exploring. Holly pocketed the strange item for now and continued on her search since she was feeling pretty good. She didn't expect that exploring a giant hole would be all that exciting, but life always through funny things at her that made it all the better. Naturally, she wasn't about to complain. Perhaps there would be more interesting things further in. She wondered what was at the bottom of this thing anyway.
