Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Another go at the museum. Kyle was doing more than just obliging Phoebe now. He'd started enjoying milling around there and knocking off Shadows. Perhaps when the time was right he'd run into something nice and big and nasty to fight.
Yeah, that would be fun. Bigass Shadows always seemed to show up after a good while so he wanted to take advantage of that. After all, he had to keep testing himself and pushing his limits. So far, between him and Phoebe they'd managed to keep the paintings of the museum pretty safe. They'd actually started taking them down and wrapping them in linens and then brown paper with string, in order to protect them from decay and weather. The Shadows didn't really bother with them. He'd thought it stupid at first but some of these were actually pretty valuable so it wasn't all bad. Maybe a good notch on his karma.
He finished off wrapping another painting and put it against the wall, like the others. That's when he heard a weird noise and grabbed his axe immediately. Yep, there they were at last.

Kyle turned around and glared a bit. That was a pretty damn big Shadow but he'd faced one of these Gigas dudes before. This thing had a silly, preposterous mustache and splashes of paint all over him. Kyle flexed his neck and let the thing approach a bit closer before he went on the offensive.
He summoned Sitri, who appeared from the chopped card with a roar and a swish of his tail. He promptly roared at the Gigas, who just rushed Kyle with his arm wound back for an attack. Kyle rolled to the side suddenly and the blast of kinetic energy growing behind the Gigas arm hit the floor instead of him. Sitri skulked around the Gigas like the stalking cat he was and suddenly attacked from the side at Kyle's command.
He leaped forward, almost rearing his upper body up in midair, as one of his front paws wound back and then came down, carrying a palpable force with it. The sound of a dropping blade, like a guillotine, rang out in the museum hall and the Shadow stumbled backwards from the hit. It recovered pretty quickly and attacked him again. This time the attack was faster and came with a straight strike that actually felt like a pierce. It hit Sitri and the leopard skidded backwards, snarling.
Kyle cursed. That hurt, actually. He went on the offensive again, calling down a Zionga on the Shadow. Sitri's wings crackled with electricity and then a bolt of lightning crashed down on it. It was jolted but didn't appear to be very bothered. Kyle cringed and sighed. Okay, lightning was out. The Shadow rushed him but Kyle dodged again, feeling a bladed attack pass right by him. So this guy was all about the physicals. Kyle could deal with that.
As he dodged past, Kyle swung his axe, catching the thing behind the knee. The axe buried itself in the Shadow and the hulking thing dropped to a knee. It happened fast and Kyle had to act faster; he pulled his axe back with a sick, meaty sound and struck again at the back of the Shadow's head. It was dazed by the hit.
"Sitri! Finish him!"
The leopard swung his massive paw again and another guillotine strike staggered the Shadow, this one ending its life in a burst of darkness. With his opponent defeated, Kyle stood straight and glanced around. Fortunately, none of the paintings and sculptures had taken any significant damage. Phoebe's 'inspection' wouldn't have troubles.
