Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Just a few hundred more feet, Layla told herself. Just a few hundred more feet. She was so close she could feel it...along with feeling very cold down here. Yikes. She had come prepared for chilly weather, as she had slowly started to become accustomed to in Mosaic city, but this was quite a bit cooler than she had anticipated. With the lack of fights to keep the blood pumping, and an unwillingness to stir up a shadow nest by dropping columns of light on it as she had been, she had little choice but to wrap her arms around herself to keep warm.
Maybe she'd try to run as much of the way back up as she could. And the next time she came, she would have to find something even warmer to wear. But for now, she still wanted to at least reach the bottom.

And eventually, only one final obstacle stood in Layla's way. A machine on three-legged wheels, built to break everything in front of it, dropped onto the path as it started to level out, blocking Layla's progress forward. But Layla was having none of that. Not when she was this close. She summoned Vajrabhairava and dropped a lightning bolt on it, stunning it for several seconds. Once it recovered, however, it dropped all pretenses of blocking her path and went straight for the kill, slamming its massive spiked cudgel of an arm into her and smashing her against the wall. Which, really, would have instantly killed any normal human. Layla once again had to thank her Persona for the extra endurance it gave her.
And also the lightning. She dropped a second bolt of lightning on the machine the moment she got free of its arm, and that was enough to finish it off.
Ahh, this descent into Naraka, as it were, really had done wonders for her if she was able to finish a fight that quickly.
