Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Well, shit. Here Jaelyn was again, wandering through the tunnels of an old, abandoned mine and looking for something, anything worthwhile. But no. No such things presented themselves. Just a lot of dirt, and rock, and wood that was keeping the dirt and rock from collapsing. And until she got deeper in, even the shadows weren't giving her any trouble. In fact, until she got deep enough to realize that yes, there were actually shadows of decent strength farther in that could be burned, Jaelyn had been wondering why she was even there.
But now that she was this far in, she could at least say it was to burn things.

Soon enough, Jaelyn came across...well, it was a fairy-looking figure, holding a bow and wearing a mask over its face. And it was floating right in the middle of the path. Well, she did want shadows to burn, so that was okay she guessed.
She summoned Caligula and dropped a massive ball of fire on the shadow. The fire quickly spread to fill the path in front of her, obscuring the fairy-like shadow from view. It didn't seem to be deterred from attacking, though, despite several high-pitched squeaks that suggested it was in extreme pain. An arrow came flying out of the flames moments later, striking Jaelyn square in the chest. That...also hurt like hell, but it was bearable. Bearable enough that seconds later, Jaelyn had called down a second fireball, amplifying the blaze and hitting the shadow a second time.
This time, no arrows came out in response. The flames soon died down, revealing that the shadow had already dissolved in the aftermath of the second attack.

Well. That was underwhelming. So underwhelming that Jaelyn didn't even feel like continuing. The mine was a freaking maze, just like the upper floors of the hospital had been, and she had come all that way through it for a little fairy thing that barely put up a fight. Pass. She could go somewhere else and find something more interesting and more satisfying to burn. Maybe the great big hole that some of the other Users had made such a big deal of. Jaelyn had never seen the big deal, even if the shadow presence around that area was (supposedly, at least) much stronger than any other of their nests. Except maybe the castle.
It was still just a hole. But it would be better than the hospital, and it would be better than this place.
