Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Kyle dusted himself down from his last fight with a Shadow, stepping over the quickly evaporating remains and continued his leisurely patrol of the museum, with his axe lazily resting on his shoulder. Sitri paced alongside him at a stroll's pace, making a strange, soft grunting noise as he breathed. He looked like a contented cat on a walk, honestly.
The museum had a lot more Shadows than he'd expected, frankly. The place seemed to get more crowded every time he came here, actually. The damn things probably took a liking to how dark and cozy this place was becoming. Soon enough it'd probably turn into a hotbed of Shadows. It was still a decent training ground for him, though eventually he'd have to abandon it and search for stronger Shadows.

"Heh, there you are," Kyle smirked when the big Shadow appeared.
He brought his axe down in his hands and loosened his shoulders while Sitri snarled and roared at the Shadow. Silly thing looked like someone had tossed a few buckets of paint over it and the paint had now dried and grown flaky.
"Right furball, let's get pumped. Sukukaja!"
Sitri snarled and stretched his wings, arching his back and roaring into the sky, casting a green light around Kyle that got his blood pumping and made him feel light on his feet. He played the axe on his hands a bit and watched the Shadow barrel towards him and swing around, intending to hit him with the giant spikes jutting out of where its arms should've been. Kyle jumped aside and dodged it, ordering Sitri to cast a spell as he did.
"Sitri, Zionga!"
A thunderbolt crashed down onto the Shadow, staggering it and giving Kyle the chance to go in for a direct attack. He brought the axe down on the thing's chest, knocking it backwards. It wheeled around and called down a bolt of lightning as well, but it was weaker than Kyle's and he simply shrugged it off with minimal problems. Sitri and he ate lightning for breakfast.
"Give 'im another one, Sitri!"
Another bolt of lightning and the Shadow bounced backwards again from the impact. Sitri chased after it at Kyle's command and swung his paw at it hard, carrying with it the force and sound of a heavy, falling blade. The Shadow was knocked backwards again and when it hit the ground it collapsed into itself in a flurry of dark flakes like ash.
