Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The night's exploration had proved fruitful for Seiji. He observed that the majority of the shadows seemed to lurk within the main areas around the area, leaving him alone otherwise. Taking advantage of that, he decided to take advantage of rumors he'd heard circulating around the net about a sort of junk dealer located at certain coordinates. His backpack was filled to the brim with all sorts of goods and curios pulled from the areas beyond the blockade. He was curious to see how much of a profit he'd make from the trip, needless to say. Turning the corner, he thought he found himself in the right spot. There was a mission board and other oddities that would seem strange to all but people like him.
Slightly tired, wanting to get this over with, he knocked on the door and then walked inside the building. He had to admire the junk dealer's taste in...decor, if you could call it that. The room was very dim, but he figured the proper thing to do was find the counter. "Hello," he began as he removed his backpack, his back feeling much better for the sudden removal of weight, "got some things you might find interesting." Laying them all out on the table, he found himself curious as to how much money the things he'd found would net him. "The name's Seiji by the way. I promise none of this was stolen from department stores." His deadpan voice left no hint as to the seriousness of his statement.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Trekking back from the depths of shadow territory, Seiji couldn't help but smile at the thought how getting paid for the useless junk highly valuable items plucked from the maws of shadows that would doubtlessly fetch a pretty penny. The monsters that he'd fought in the hospital were tenacious fighters, but he'd managed to overcome them in the end. Content with the steady pace at which he was advancing, he navigated through The Gap until he came to the same door he'd entered before.
Before entering, he looked at the mission board and shook his head when there didn't seem to be anything there worth telling Takeda about. If they could get a steady supply of money going from fighting shadows, maybe they'd be able to afford some more clothes, better food, and general things to force them above the poverty line.
Oh, and maybe supply them with weapons decent enough to stand up to the shadows. Walking into the dimly lit store, he once again sat his backpack on the table and emptied it of all the things he'd collected. "Good to see you again. Here's some more stuff. I'll see you same time next week with more goods."
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

"Nothing like more money to make going out into the outer circle every night worth it." All the usual deadpan was in Seiji's voice as he made his way past the mission board that was, for once, filled with things to do. Some were claimed, some weren't, and there was even something that interested him for later. It looked like Takeda would have something to do besides sitting at home complaining that no new developments were happening with the 'case' as some people called it.
Stepping inside the familiar dim building, he put the goods down on the table and nodded at the strange blonde lady. "Hello three times over now. I'll be taking my money and going." And he was good for his word, taking the payment offered by the lady and going back home.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Bag full of assorted crap that he didn't understand the value of, Seiji walked through the doors of the gap and found his way to the counter. Throwing his junk down on the table, he tossed a light smile at the junk lady before showing off all the different kinds of goods he had for her to peruse. It felt weird being a salesman, especially when he didn't know what exactly was valuable and what wasn't. There were weird packages wrapped up in cloths of different colors and bits of old coins found in houses.
"Pleasure taking your money for this stuff. Have fun being mysterious. See you next week
