Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Well...here Jaelyn was again. Right back in the mines where she could get herself hopelessly lost to her heart's content. Well, fortunately, at least, she could find her way through most of it based on where other people had been. The battle damage from everyone else's exploits made for an easily marked path that led Jaelyn down into the lower mines no problem. It was down there that things started to get a little bit more difficult. The lower mines weren't nearly as well traveled. But, maybe if she just went in a straight line for as long as possible, she would be fine.
Hopefully this trip wouldn't be as disappointing as the last one though.

Jaelyn caught sight of one of those big, burly wrestler-like shadows as she passed an intersection in the tunnels. And, if it was anything like the other big, burly muscle man shadows, it was probably looking to punch her everything in. She enhanced her speed to be able to hopefully avoid any incoming attacks, while it took a deep, sturdy stance and charged up. Definitely needed to avoid it then. Jaelyn blasted it with fire next, which seemed to be effective as it completely knocked the wrestler shadow out of its stance. But, it didn't do anything about the shadow's charge, as it stood up again, pointed at Jaelyn, and sent a massive blast of ice at her.
...wait, what?!
Jaelyn managed to avoid the attack, just barely, by ducking around the corner of the tunnel. The ice spread along the walls and floor, forcing her to back up even farther to avoid being frozen or slipping. But the wrestler shadow walked on it just fine, rounding the corner and smashing the fresh layer of ice under its feet to bits in the process. But still...a magic-using wrestler?!
"You're a new one. I almost hate to kill you," Jaelyn said, summoning Caligula again for the finisher. "But I have to admit, that'll make it all the more fun for me." Another massive fireball came crashing down, melting the rest of the ice and incinerating the shadow.

When the fire died down, there was nothing left of the shadow. Not even any kind of remains. "Well...that was still disappointing," Jaelyn said with a sigh. It was different...but still just as weak as everything else she had fought recently. Unfulfilling. Maybe...it was time to move on. Find somewhere else to hunt shadows. Or else just go back to the sinkhole and keep going deeper until things got stronger. That was usually how these places worked. Maybe if she got to the very bottom...or maybe there were even stronger shadows deeper in the mines as well. Either one was worth a shot.
