Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Sayu strolled through the library. The question still loomed over her head, but she never did encounter a sentient while wandering through the bookshelf-halls. Texts in various languages were there. Some she recognized, others she didn't, and the topics of those she could read were varied. None of it was interesting, though. Not for her, at least. Maybe if she found a book of music, sure, but the majority of the texts suggested scientific fields, or some obscure genre of. . . something or other.
Either way, she was there for training first and musical inspiration second. Whether or not she found the latter at all was entirely irrelevant.

A wizard and a book, both apparently made of ice cream, floated and wandered through the shelves. Sayu noticed them long before they noticed her. That was why she summoned Tamamo and prepared a newly-obtained charge. When the mute and the kitsune stepped out into the open, they obviously drew the attention of the frozen-good Shadows. However, unfortunately for them, it was high-time for summer to arrive. With a surge of will, Sayu directed Tamamo to utilize Trisagion. A star was born. The star burned with intense ferocity, greater than even before due to the charge, and incinerated the Shadows entirely. It also burned away a bookshelf. Oh well. Some battles had casualties. That was just a fact of life.
