Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Holly tried to avoid exploring the shadowlands for awhile, but eventually she just got bored. She was never the type that would be able to live a normal life. Everything had to be big, be grand. With the city being blocked off there just wasn't much she could do at this point. All of her current plots with in the school had stagnated and her efforts to stimulate them again hadn't been going so well. So, she fell back on the current biggest thing she knew about: the shadow threat. All she could really do right now is take a look around and see if there was anything interesting.

Perhaps this shadow just wanted to work on its fire magic. Perhaps it had just worn itself out from a previous fight. Perhaps it was just so philosophical, so 'deep' if you will, that Holly just didn't understand its tactics. Perhaps it was just a complete moron and thought it was doing good by using a spell that barely scratched her. Perhaps it was just picking attacks at random and she was just getting really lucky. Whatever the case, when the battle began and Holly's auto-buffs activated and she cast Debilitate, the shadow responded by casting Agi.
Holly was fine with that. It didn't even singe her hair anymore. The strange thing was that even after she threw some knives at it, the shadow continued using Agi. Repeatedly. It didn't look to be enjoying itself either, so the entire battle just left her confused. She didn't need to heal, heck the only energy she expended was to cast Debilitate, but the battle took a good ten minutes just because the stupid shadow revived itself. Even with that and with all the attacks she endured, she was barely hurt at all.
Shadows could be so strange sometimes. It was too bad it was in such a bad spot or she would have just run away.

That was...an experience. This was the second time something strange like that happened, but at least this shadow was strong. Holly stared into the space it used to be after it disappeared for a moment, clearly not understanding what just happened. After a moment, she shook her head and shrugged. It didn't barely anything at all to her, so she was able to safely continue on her way without needing to heal. There wasn't much pep in her step due to her current conflicted mindset, but at least she was able to do something. That had to count for something right?
