Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Tristan grinned as he entered the mines. It had been a while, all right- a couple weeks- but he still couldn't stop thinking of his new training grounds. Because of this, he went in giddy with excitement. He doubted something horrible would happen. Heck, if he encountered something big he'd step up to the challenge with a loving smile on his face.
His work may be affecting him horribly, but he was coming to love it unconditionally. Besides, he could finally understand the old saying about how "time apart makes the love grow." Not that it mattered much, anyway. He was ready for anything, and he made sure something knew it.
"Send me a challenge!"

It wasn't long before Tristan's request was met. He had only went a short way into the mine when he was nearly struck by an arrow. He followed the trajectory to find a Dancer in miner's garb and a fiery Raven. He quickly summoned Ifreet and willed for a Slash attack. What came surprised him.
He had been used to his attacks being slightly weaker than most everyone's. However, the attack that Ifreet dealt was scary powerful. It hit the Raven stronger than it did the Dancer, and it seemed boosted by Vice's necklace.
Tristan grinned as the bird fell to the ground and faded into nothingness."And thou wilt bother people, Nevermore." Content with his literary reference, the boy turned to face the arrow-shooting Dancer. "Alas, and what of you? Shall we dance until the balls of your feet touch not the ground, as your spirit descends to the nether realms? Or will you turn tail like the cur you are?"
Tristan's mocking words were met with a hail of arrows, as he expected. With a sigh, shake of the head, and sadistic grin, Tristan weathered the pain. It was excruciating, yes; however, he had taken worse and that took the edge off. He summoned Ifreet again and willed another of the Slash attacks.
This blew away the Dancer, and Tristan smiled. He loved his job.
