Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

While it could finally be said that the big freaking pit posed very little threat to Jaelyn, she was also starting to get very bored of it. It was a deep dark pit that wasn't even really worth mentioning beyond, well, being deep and dark. And full of shadows. It looked prettier when it was on fire, but then again, so did most things. Not like it was special in that regard.
So, Jaelyn was bored. And boredom meant that it was probably time to move on soon. She figured that she'd be able to withstand one more run of the place before she would completely cease to give a shit. Maybe she'd just drop more falling stars on it until everything left was burned up. Wouldn't that be a great sendoff.

It took all the way until Jaelyn was back at the bottom of the pit before she ran into any shadows. And what else would greet her there than some big ugly beast. One with purple fur and oversized claws and a rather bizarre-looking tail. That would do, though. It looked burnable, so Jaelyn would burn it. She focused her mind and charged up for one of her usual blasts. Unfortunately, the beast charged up as well. And with giant claws and a lot of girth to use them, there was no way that was a good thing. Which meant that Jaelyn had to hope she could incinerate it in one hit.
Her Persona raised his gladius high, and a gigantic fireball slowly started to descend on the battlefield. No...less a fireball, and more a miniature star. Like a second sun had been introduced to the shadowlands, only far too close to the earth, light and heat spread across the ground beneath the falling star. The beast caught fire even before the star reached the ground. When it did hit, the fire consumed it, leaving only a charred mess in its place.
