Pyxis had taken some time off because of recent events.  More for Alisa's sake than for her own.  But now she was back out and itching for some more action.  Figuratively, of course.  But the desire to get back into the metaphorical swing of things and start shooting again was still the same.  Heck, she'd even deal with the library a little bit longer if that was still the best she was going to get.  So she was back in the library and ready to go.  Whether it be more hordes, more red shadows, another Sleeping Table, or even something very personal like last time, Pyxis was ready for it.

Nope. No hordes, no tables, nothing but a very angry book. Pyxis sensed an increase in power from it from the moment it spotted her. It was only fair to respond in kind, of course, and so Pyxis did. The attack primer set into her right hand did its job, supercharging her weapons and Persona for the first attack. Prometheus materialized behind her, a towering figure in a dark cloak carrying white fire to contrast the small but brilliant Elpis. And just like that, it was already over for the Book. Intense blunt force slammed into the shadow from all sides as the flames cast shadows of warring gods on the walls and bookcases nearby. The sheer force of the attack was too much for the book shadow, and it was beaten into a crumpled mess within seconds.
