Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Something about that hospital had struck Seiji's fancy. Whether it was the stronger shadows, the new locations, or how he couldn't seem to climb higher into the executive building yet despite vanquishing a powerful shadow within its walls, he felt more compelled to head for the hospital than his usual shadow hunting spot. Navigating the streets through the same method he'd told Takeda and others proved successful enough that he didn't feel like he was giving them bad information.
With the hospital looming ahead, he entered the waiting area and sat down for a minute. Crossing his legs and stretching out, he yawned and hoped something would show up quickly. He was looking for a fight. Hopefully a fight with something powerful, or something that would lead him to boocoos of spending cash. There was no need to hurry though, the shadows would sense his presence and be there in their own time.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

In the darkness beyond Seiji's field of vision, something monstrous lurked, waiting for an unfortunate soul to come and be pulverized. The first signs of the monster's coming were heavy footsteps down the hall. Thump, thump, thump... they drew closer and Seiji was up on his feet, sword drawn and Persona summoned. Sir Gareth was on the ground beside him, the knight's massive blade held with both arms just as Seiji held his bastard sword. Whatever was coming down that hall...he'd face it together with his inner self. A deep, cocky laugh resonated through the hallways. The ceiling above them was unusually tall. That was probably how the shadow in question even made its home here. It lumbered out of the darkness and laughed once more once he saw the sight of Seiji and Sir Gareth standing ready in the face of defeat. "A boss already?" Seiji questioned as the creature merely observed them. Whatever the creature was, Seiji could sense power rolling off of its metal body. Long blonde hair fell from a mask modeled after that of a Luchadore. Just as Seiji moved to attack, the creature haughtily put its hands on its hips, pointed at Seiji, and laughed for the third time. It seemed to view them as merely bugs to be squashed.
Gripping their swords, the two knights charged their opponent and slashed across his body. Despite Gareth's attack being obviously stronger than Seiji's, it didn't seem to make as much of a dent in the creature as Seiji's sword which coursed with electricity. Stoic in the face of such puny attacks, the creature looked at them and slammed his fist deep into the ground. A powerful wave of kinetic heat rolled through the building, knocking Seiji against the wall. The attack hurt as few things in his life ever had. Not even the sting of the arrows and the flames from the nights before had hurt him this badly. This thing meant business. Focusing on his Persona, he focused on his desire for it to use mahama. Gareth seemed to understand the command as a beam of bright light shot from the sword and hit the creature. Finally, it seemed to recoil in pain at the attack before charging Gareth and dealing a powerful blow to the Persona. So great was the attack that it launched the Persona out of the hospital and into the parking lot. Looking outside and seeing Sir Gareth, he saw the Persona's helmet come open as it huffed in pain. His own pain had only grown when the attack had connected with his Persona.
Seiji would not allow himself to be defeated here. Not so easily, and certainly not by something that could possibly still lurk here after he ran. What if Takeda wandered too close to the hospital, or Alisa, or Jonathon? No...this was his battle. It was his duty to defeat the creature, and he was going to try right up until the moment that the trying killed him. Standing himself up and grabbing his sword, he fell into a stance often used in Kendo. The bastard sword was a bit bigger and much heavier than the wooden kendo weapons, but he felt like he knew what he was doing. The hulking shadow charged him and Seiji did the same. Taking advantage of his small size, he fell underneath the creature's hulking fist, slashing at its leg and hamstringing it. If his foe was a normal human, perhaps the fight would have ended right then. Instead, the creature turned and faced him, laughing despite the shocking injuries his electrosword had inflicted. Howling at the top of his lungs, Seiji slashed the Gigas again, not giving any ground as he desperately tried fighting the creature. Blue flashes of electricity whizzed as Seiji hacked at its body, desperate to push the creature back and not give an inch.
Despite his valiant efforts, the creature was slowly but surely pushing him against a wall. Looking outside, he didn't see Sir Gareth anywhere. Trying to summon his Persona again, he felt some force stopping him. It was as if his conscious was trying to tell him that his Persona was still around. Heartened by the fact that he wasn't alone, Seiji faced the charging Gigas and gave one last charge, again howling at the top of his lungs. Just as the creature lunged to attack him, Sir Gareth rushed through the window, glass breaking as it tackled the gigas. With both Shadow and Persona rolling on the ground, Seiji dismissed his inner self as they were in the middle of an intense struggle. Looking around, the shadow seemed to find itself confused by the sudden lack of an opponent. Jumping on its back, Seiji savagely hacked at its neck. He was desperate to kill this thing, desperate to severe its head and ensure that it never hurt anyone else foolish enough to explore this hospital. Unfortunately for him, the creature he was dealing with was strong despite the extra weight in his back, the Gigas had no trouble at all standing up, its muscles rippling as Seiji was thrown from his back through the window.
Landing in the shards with a painful sounding unf, the fool counted his lucky stars that none of the glass shards had torn into his body. Right behind him the Gigas walked out into the parking lot, laughing once again. In desperation, Seiji once again summoned his inner self. He was getting too exhausted to fight and he had to do something soon. There was an attack he had often considered using in battle but had always left untouched in favor of more direct damage. A blue light emerged from Gareth's sword. It launched itself right at the Gigas, the blue glow spreading throughout the creature. It suddenly found itself weakened, hunched over and huffing. Of course Soul Break exhausted opponents. Persona and Persona-User looked at one another again, nodding as they had done the last time they did the maneuver they were about to do. Sir Gareth filled his blade with the light of Mahama, imbuing it with the light properties for its next attack just as Seiji's blade was imbued with lightning. The two crossed their blades as they struck the Gigas. For once, the massive shadow roared in pain. The battle seemed to be wo-
As the two swordsmen held their pose immediately after striking the Gigas, it grabbed their blades and twisted them around, spinning and throwing them both away as it slammed its fists into the ground again. Another heat wave sent Seiji and Sir Gareth flying. Seiji's body landed against a car that had been left in the parking lot. The force of impact set off an alarm. All around them, a build-up of shadows watching the fight seemed to appear, drawn by the sound. Holding aloft his sword, Seiji fought through the pain and weakly stood up. Even in the face of certain defeat, he didn't have it in him to give up. As if following his example, Sir Gareth did the same. One more attack...he felt like he could do that. And if that did nothing, then so be it...but he wasn't going to let the Gigas get the last laugh. Putting every last ounce of energy he could muster into this last attack, he charged at the shadow and hacked at its hard. The sparks of clashing steel flashed before Seiji's face as he saw his Persona do the same. The force of their combined blows had finally managed to lop off the luchadore's head. The body fell down harmlessly, and Seiji fell with it to his knees.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

The shadows that had gathered to watch the fight disappeared back into the fog moments later. Instead of dismissing his Persona, Seiji kept him around for right now, if only to not be alone as he weakly attempted to scavenge the area. Already the fight had worn him out...he wouldn't be doing too much exploring today. Noticing something near the headless body of the Gigas, he saw an object wrapped in heavy electric colored cloth. Picking it up, a feeling of excitement overwhelmed Seiji as he realized that it was a piece of armor modification, just like the others he'd found in his travels across the outer circle. The day had proved a fun one for Seiji. He'd defeated a powerful shadow, grown a little in the process, and he got a prize for his efforts.
Sighing with relief, he easily navigated his way back through the tunnels and out to the other side, showing his new prize to Takeda and sleeping easy that night after his brother and him risked exposing Personas to the public by summoning Faust in their apartment to heal his wounds to avoid going to the doctor. That was a story for another time, though...
