This first idea that the boy listed was quite an interesting one, even if it sounded a little ambitious. She would have the capability to make her own clothing should she wish it. It probably wasn't something she would seriously pursue though. The second idea made Luka ponder for a moment. Gifts, huh? People probably enjoyed getting handmade gifts. Something that came from the heart. Sewing was probably one of the number one ways of obtaining such a gift. I suppose you can make some nice gifts like that. Though, I don't have anyone to give gifts to, I'm afraid. But being able to make clothing for myself sounds like something interesting. She said it quite plainly; as if stating what she had eaten for breakfast that day. It was not odd for her. This girl did not have people she considered friends. Nor did she have someone she could call family for that matter. It had been that way for quite some time. Hence, talking about it didn't seem like an oddity for her.
Finally, the girl eyed the new materials presented to her. She could make the pillow any size she wanted, it seemed. She wasted no time sizing up the pieces, finally choosing a size for the actual product. The boy explained some of the more intricacies of the stitching that would be necessary. He really knew a lot of information about stitching for someone who didn't know how to stitch. Uwah~ You must be pretty smart if you simply know random bits of information like different stitching techniques. Luka would probably have believed him if he told her that he was actually a genius. The ironic part about this was the fact that Luka had some of the best grades in the school. It was those grades that had gotten her here in the first place.
When the two sides of the pillow seemed to match in terms of size, she began the stitching process once again; just enough so that the two pillows were connected. Enough so that she wasn't getting cotton all over. The "double hem" as it was called was actually pretty easy for her. Am I doing it right? I think I got the hang of this one. She held the stitching up a bit as she continued stitching the parts together.
