Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka stood at the entrance of the abandoned mine shaft, far out of the city's reach. It certainly wasn't her favorite spot to go exploring given how cramped it was. Not to mention that it was dark, cold, and had a lot of stuff that she could trip on. It was a bit of an inconvenience for young Luka. She pulled out her flashlight again, but not before checking to make sure she had her evoker on her. When she was thoroughly satisfied and mentally prepared, she began her descent into the cave. Hopefully she would have a better time than the last.
This was also when Luka remembered that she should probably be looking for stuff to sell to the lady the ran The Gap. As she made her way down the tunnel, she tried to find something of reasonable value. Well, this was a mine. She doubted that she would find jewels just laying around, but she also doubted that she could just pick up unrefined ingots of metal either. Perhaps there was some really nice equipment that could be grabbed for money? Luka looked at all the different equipment, seeing if there was anything actually worth picking up. She would be keeping an eye out for enemy shadows as well, of course.

As Luka was looking around the cave in search of things to take back, she heard the sound of very heavy footsteps. Turning, she saw what looked like a very large humanoid shadow. It hadn't spotted her yet, but she was already reaching for her evoker to take care of the threat. Yuki Jyorou! Mudoon! A large amount of dark energy hit the foe directly causing it to writhe in pain. Turning, it spotted Luka and charged.
With a large amount of force, the enemy struck Luka knocking her off her feet. The dark attack seemed really effective, thankfully. With that in mind, she decided to go for a second attack similar to that. Mudoon! Another strong dark attack went forth, hitting the enemy for another significant amount of damage. It was certainly on the edge of going down now. But that was when the enemy put up a magical barrier that protected it from magic attacks. Luka knew that she wouldn't be able to hit it now. She had no physical attacks to hit it with. But that was when she got an idea.
Putting the evoker to her head, she decided to go for an attack she had neglected to use. Marin Karin! The enemy suddenly stopped in its tracks. It didn't seem all that aggressive anymore. Now. Will you please die for me? She spoke in her usual straightforward voice, asking it a rather odd question. Yet, the large shadow seemed to respond positively as it slowly began to tear itself apart as a result. In the end, the shadow slowly dissolved into nothing. Another fight over with.

That shadow just now was a lot larger than the ones she was used to fighting. It really made her wonder just how big they could actually get. Either way, she took it as a sign that she was entering much more dangerous territory. This might also mean that she was also getting more powerful. Either that or she had been on a lucky streak.
Unfortunately her search of the cave had turned up very little in terms of things to bring back to sell. She stuffed a few pieces of electrical equipment that were probably too old to work and some flashlights into her bag before deciding to head back. The mines weren't really a good place to look for things given how old they were. Heck, they were probably scavenged over long before the circle even appeared. On that note, she returned home with a bag full of dusty old spoils.
