Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka wasn't exactly thrilled about making a return trip here. The mine was probably one of the last places she wanted to be back at so soon after a certain mission. The mission itself had been a success, but she had been downed following its finale. She had been downed with a single shot, at that. How was she going to follow up with such a display? As reluctant as she was, the girl had faith in herself. Faith she had only recently acquired.
Following said incident, and after a series of events that had followed it, the girl had received an evolved persona as a result. Yuki Jyorou had become Hel. On top of that, her spells had become much more potent. One in particular being completely new at that. Mind Charge made her next attack ridiculously more powerful than normal. With improved attacks and an attack booster, how was she going to go wrong?

Luka trekked down the all too familiar path of the mines, keeping an eye out for anything that may ambush her. She wasn't going to let herself get caught as badly as last time again. It was easier said than done of course. Coming to an open room, the girl peered in from a nearby wall to avoid being spotted. Three enemies were inside, as she counted. Taking a good look at them, she tried to read their levels of power. Two of them were rather weak, but the other one seemed a bit more powerful than the others. Specifically the small blob-like one. She had the jump on them of course, so she would make the best use out of this opportunity that she could. Hel. She spoke softly, calling her persona to her.
Rising from beneath her, Hel began to charge Luka up for a powerful attack. This was the new ability she had received upon awakening. Clearing her mind, Luka aimed at the stronger creature and sent a powerful dark-based attack at it, utterly decimating the creature before it could even get a chance to see her. She could only assume that it was light-based given its utter decimation. Lucky for her. Now of course, this would alert the other two to her presence. But really, she was doing good already. How bad could this turn out?
The two creatures turned to Luka and sent out two separate attacks. When the bright yellow circles appeared around her, Luka's eyes widened as she jumped to the side. Yeah. . . real funny. She was likely talking to the otherworldly being heartless enough to put her up against three light based creatures as once. Truly, heartless.
Popping back from around the corner, Luka and her persona made a dash for the other side of the opening, firing off another dark based attack as they moved along. It managed to hit another one of the creatures, causing it to vanish like dust. Her attacks seemed to outclass these smaller ones by a lot. The last one was still coming at her though. Turning around from the wall that acted as cover, Luka was hit in the side with the remaining shadow's light attack. She grabbed at her side that was beginning to slightly burn in pain. But she was still in the fight. She ushered a command to Hel to fire off another dark attack at the creature. Luka watched while holding her side as the creature began to burn away into nothing. Yup. What could go wrong?

Well, that was over with. Luka couldn't help but get over the fact that she would get set against three light-users right after an incident like before. Perhaps it was a sign? Or maybe a way to show herself that she had truly improved in strength. An evolved persona really was something. As for the new skill that she had, well, it seemed a bit overkill right now. Nothing could take more than one hit from it to date. Luka was somewhat tempted to try it on something really powerful like Mr. Crawling Chaos that came out of the catacombs just a little bit ago. Then again, she wouldn't wish for something like that to appear again.
Gathering her mental focus, the girl looked around a bit for some more stuff to pawn off to the woman at The Gap before heading off. All she needed was to run into an even more powerful version of that light attack. And going by this trip so far, she was wholly expecting it.
