Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

To say that Luka was getting used to the abandoned mine wouldn't exactly be true. Sure, she could navigate the place better, began to dress more heavily for it, and was even beginning to predict where shadows would appear. But it was still a cold, dusty old mine shaft that was too cramped to move around in. So why exactly did she keep showing up? Simple. She could sense a powerful presence in here that was giving her a bad vibe. The force was strong; possibly too strong for her to handle on her own. But that didn't stop her from trying to pursue it, even if it didn't want to show its face.
Luka went down her now usual path in the mines. She looked around the corners she usually looked and hid behind the walls she usually hid behind. Nothing out of routine, yet.

Luka went down her usual path, heading into a room that was usually empty. Usually, being every other time she had come here; except for this time. She halted in her tracks as a rather large shadow with a shadowy blade moved to a combat pose. It had clearly spotted her. Shit. She quickly reached down for her evoker, pulling it out and channeling a command for a dark attack. Immediately as she did, the shadow charged at her, blade thrusted out. Hel managed to land the attack first, sending the creature flying back. So this one was weak to darkness as well?
Before the thing could get back up, Luka ordered another Mind Charge so that she could completely destroy this thing in one hit. That sword that the shadow had looked like it would hurt, a lot. She didn't want to risk getting hit by it if that really was the case.
Just as the creature seemed to get up, Luka had finished charging her attack. Now, Hel! A dark-purple beam of energy fired at the shadow, blowing a hole straight through it. It kept running at Luka regardless, slowly disintegrating until it was a cloud of dust at her feet. With a sigh, the girl relaxed again. Her attacks really were getting stronger, evident of the strong looking shadow she had just beaten without a single hit on her. If she had any complaints though, it was that Mind Charging took a lot of her energy. Oh well. She'd live.

Another trip over with, and another trip where she didn't manage to find the powerful shadow that she was sensing. Well, there was always next time. Though she hadn't taken a single hit from her fight, Luka was quite tired. Mind Charge drained a lot out of her mentally. She decided to play it smart and simply go home rather than trying to fight a fight that she might be too tired for. Perhaps she could come back with more people one day and find that shadow? It was something to think about for later, of course. She wanted to get home and wash the dust and mine smell from herself. Maybe get something to eat while she was at it.
