Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The shadows seemed pretty darn ticked off at Seiji. Ever since he had helped slay the rock golem, the other shadows had been more aggressive. Maybe it sensed that he had helped slay their protector and wasn't powerful enough to make mincemeat out of them quite yet. Taking the opportunity to try and kill him, Seiji had a few close calls with groups of large shadows that tried to gang up on him. Hiding in a side passageway with his sword at the ready, he closed his eyes and tried to sense if anything was close.
Darn, something was close. Steeling his resolve, he drew into the sea of his soul and pulled forth Sir Gawain. Both Knight and User turned the corner, ready to strike whatever was before them.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

The clash of steel lit up the darkness of the mine. In front of Seiji, a dark armor clad figure stood out against the darkness. A fellow sword wielder. Few things made Seiji smile as brightly as the knowledge that his opponent was someone who fought similarly to him. Backing off to give them all equal distance, the Samurai observed them dourly from beneath its mask. Perhaps it was sizing them up to see which one it should strike first, perhaps it was merely biding its time. Finally deciding on Sir Gawain, the Ronin charged the knight and their brave blades met. The clash sent out a powerful blast of kinetic energy that sent them both recoiling. Taking the opportunity to dive in close and start going to town on the Samurai, it quickly proved to be a much stronger opponent. The idea of something being stronger than him excited him, filled him with a drive to strengthen himself. Compelling Sir Gawain in his free moments, burst after burst of red light filled the cave until Seiji's muscles practically screamed with energy. Eventually, his bastard sword locked into place with the daikatana of the Samurai. Both of them held their ground, the larger armor bound Samurai slowly gaining an advantage even as Seiji stood his ground.
Eventually seeing an opening and taking it, he dove down and risked losing his head to the Samurai's blade. His dare paid off and he hamstrung the Samurai, not hurting him much but hurting him, at the very least. Sir Gawain opened his helmet and peppered the Samurai with light attacks as he tried to get away. Momentarily dazed by an attack that seemed super effective, Seiji moved in to give what he hoped would be a finishing blow. A wave of sword slashes too fast to be seen filled the air as Seiji was knocked back both by the cuts and the force of wind created by them. Looking at the gashes all over his body, he felt his body cry as blood spilled. His body was resistant to slash damage, but whatever the Musha had done had sure hurt. It even managed to land a critical hit on him. Standing up, he saw Sir Gawain had vanished due to the force of the attack. Oh no. Taking the moment to buff himself up, the Musha flashed green light and chuckled when Seiji tried to give chase. The Samurai's moves were faster, more augmented. There wasn't even an opening for Seiji to summon his Persona again. The fight was getting desperate. As if to taunt him further, the Musha further buffed himself with the green light, twice more.
He was fast, and there seemed to be no way for Seiji to catch him. Huffing as he found himself reaching the point of Exhaustion, he unconsciously pulled Sir Gareth's card out from his soul, slashing it and summoning the knight. Without wasting a moment he unleashed the bright green light and sent the Musha recoiling, panting and falling onto the defensive. Again and again he assaulted the Musha with light. It was still quick but it was obviously weakened, right up to the point where Seiji's spirit was drained and he was left with nothing but his physical vigor. They'd fought their way up towards the mine entrance and the light of the night was outside. Stumbling against the sides of the entrance, Seiji saw an opportunity and took it. Howling bloody murder, he cleaved the Samurai's helmet clean off. His body fell limply, and Seiji sheathed his weapon. Feeling a kindred spirit in the fallen shadow, he bowed respectfully.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Seiji loved watching some shadows leak ink. It reminded him of a cartoon he watched as a kid. It imitated the gore level of old samurai flicks by having all the enemies be robots who bled oil. It was kind of the same concept. If there were any shadows that probably had a warrior's sense of honor, it was the black samurai whose decapitated head was rolling at his feet, spilling black fluid all over the dead grass. At least he made it out of the mines alive when every single shadow down there seemed intent on killing him.
That had to count for something. If this were a real roleplaying game, he'd have gained experience in his survival skill, maybe a handful of hit points. Walking off towards the city, he mumbled something about wanting a burger.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
