Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

It was late in the afternoon at this point, I had already informed of my plans to visit the abandoned car factory which was easy to find in the outer circle. At this juncture, I had led Chidori to this area, making our way through the relatively safer part of the Terminal, back to the dreaded Shadowlands, no doubt the purple haze and bleak landscape inspired some degree of terrible thought or memory in the poor mute, but this time, I was there to make sure that as little harm as possible would befall her. I don't know what she did, but she made me realize something... I guess. Life is transient; my parents may have ultimately been fools for attempting to investigate something of this gravity without their own powers, or fancy abilities, like Chidori did. If I were to ever acquire such a strength... No, that was too much to consider. For now, I realized I needed to rely on these people, I had to make sure that if I could do one thing, it would be making sure that they, who wielded the Persona, would live. Even if I had to endure pain.
Amidst my musing, I realized I had led Chidori to the abandoned car factory at last. It was a veritable junkman's paradise. Broken machinery lay strewn across the area, dilapidated and well-worn conveyor belts could be seen where car chassis would be assembled. I could even spot broken car bodies and axels laid about like junk. I made sure Chidori was close. "I've done some thinking... You've helped me realize something very important... But I'll probably tell you about it later if you're interested. For the mean time, I've come here to see if Shadows would use any of the junk here."

Not wanting to split off from the person who was helping her regain a measure of stability as well as not wanting Alisa to go running off into danger by herself, the mute had tagged along to the afternoon expedition, planning to try and take it slow and cautiously; if she had to stay back a bit to do that, then so be it. The sickly purple sky made her shiver, and for a brief moment, Chidori realised that had the older woman not suggested it, she probably wouldn't have returned to the outer circle any time soon.
Pushing that train of thought aside before the flashbacks started again, the mute followed her friend through Shadowlands, trusting her to know the way, as she had not explored many areas beyond the sewers. Lucia's presence helped a great deal, but even Chidori knew by now that that little voice was really another side of her, and when in a great deal of panic, the voice would probably be drowned out. Nevertheless, she tried - that was the best she could do for now.
Chocolate brown eyes blinked a few times, however, when Alisa mentioned something about a revelation that she had helped with, apparently. A little confused, the brunette tried to keep that in mind for later as she eased her way around the broken parts of cars, her gaze very much wary.

A pack of shadows suddenly appeared, but some of them did not all appear from the same place. Cursing under my breath I crushed some broken glass further beneath my feet and scanned the area, observing that there was a table, a tiara, a hand, and a pair of things that I wasn't entirely sure what they were. "Okay, Chidori-san, let's be careful. Don't be afraid to retreat a little if it feels you're in a bad situation!" I muttered rather audibly as I took out my Mongol Bow and strung it for the first shot, aiming at the pair of connected... things (Just what were they?), and then I let loose an arrow forth, striking at one of those strange objects, it seemed to take an unusually high amount of damage, and it seemed to immediately crumple and dissipate. Was it weak to my bow attack? Nevertheless, I was not complaining.
The tiara and the hand didn't take too kindly to my instagibbing of the twins, and soon enough the hand clenched itself into a fist and drove straight into me, smacking me a bit to the side, and the tiara seemed to charge at Chidori; I recovered from the charge of the hand and soon rushed back to Chidori, intercepting the Tiara's attack and being sent spinning off to the side. The table, oddly enough, vibrated and whirred softly in place, as if waiting for something. I eyed it but instead I opted to shoot at the Tiara which charged Chidori, I was afraid it would go at her again after it hit me instead. I shot at it with my bow but it simply just spun about in place and turned to me. I really wanted to smash it with my knife but I knew it would not be a smart idea with Chidori around, so instead I braced for impact as the hand charged up something in its palm and the tiara rushed at me again.
Soon a searing light seemed to engulf me and almost burn me, the heat from the light proving to blind and disorient me, but the Tiara turned away and seemed to charge up with electricity, aiming something at the mute... I growled, I kneeled from the strong magic attack but I was able to weakly raise my bow up and shoot at the tiara with my bow, coughing as an arrow knocked the tiara out of the air and crashing to the ground below, shattering. I was panting and quite visibly hurt, but as long as Chidori was safe, it was OK with me.

Even her wary approach wasn't enough to keep them out of a bad situation it seemed; shadows swarmed them from either side, trapping the mute and her friend. Chidori tensed automatically, her body starting to come under the stress of battle - fortunately that was when both Lucia and Alisa kicked into high gear. The former nudged her along far enough to be summoned around her, protecting her somewhat whilst the latter began firing off arrows. One shadow went down automatically, obviously weak to the attack, whilst one she recognised as a Tiara shadow began charging at both of them with a move she knew would deliver a slashing blow. Shaking as it attacked the older woman first, she was frozen on the spot when it turned on her, waiting for the inevitable...until something else blurred across her vision and intercepted multiple attacks in her stead.
Heart panging from Alisa's sacrifice, the mute finally got her head in the right place and began her own assault, utilising her magic instead of physical blows. Her chocolate brown gaze settled first on the Hand that dared blast her friend with light, returning the favour with her own blast of Mudo, having suspected that as usual, the ones that used Light were often weak to the reverse. Proven right as the shadow visibly vaulted backwards before diffusing into nothingness. Then her fury turned on the one remaining Shadow - the strange Table one. It had finally sprung into action itself, unleashing a gust of wind that threatened to throw her from her feet. Gritting her teeth and standing against it, Chidori resorted to her most powerful line of magic - her enhanced Mahama. It took two powered-up blasts of Light to dispatch it, but once she had, the mute's strong stance carried her forward quickly, kneeling beside Alisa and gingerly placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Hold on, I'll heal you." She hummed with magic again, flooding both of them with a warm wave of healing magic, as her eyes filled with concern. "You didn't have to dive in you know...but thank you." Gingerly, she hugged the older woman, trying to return some of the favour she'd been bestowed the previous day.
