Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

I had to do some scrounging around for the business in particular, but I suppose a request is a request. It seemed that there was some sort of strange paranormal activity taking place in the complex I was to visit. I guess it's a reasonably sized building, but if my research is correct, then... The so-called "poltergeist-like" behavior that was being observed may be the result of either appliances going haywire or malfunctioning due to some sort of virus, or... Something more sinister may be at work. Anyway, it's probably going to yield something interesting for my efforts and even so, if I end up not needing the damn thing, I can always just pawn it off or something. I made my way to my target location, a certain business indeed, within the Golden Alice District.
Whatever it is, I was going to get to the bottom of it. I made my way to the target person who made my request (I wasn't given an exact name or anything, so I had to do some MORE extra research on my part) and made my intent known. "Excuse me? Are you the one I'm looking for? I'm supposed to be here to investigate the... uh, recent paranormal activity going on in this building. I'll go search for the source of the problem if you'll let me."

You confront the man you believe to be the one that you were suppose to meet. He skips introductions as per the situation and thanks you for coming. He directs you into the building where he begins to give you a brief overview of just what is going on in the building.
From the gist of it, things around the office have been "moving on their own" with no real explanation for it. However, a few of the workers noticed that something weird was going on in the basement. But upon trying to go down there, they are quickly shunned off by "strange figures." From what you understand, this man wants you to go into the basement and check things out. From what you know though, you will be unable to use your persona while down there.
After directing you to the basement, you notice two immediate paths to go down at the bottom of the basement stairs. It is rather dark, so caution would probably be good.

So, paranormal activity in a nutshell. I guess that sounds fair enough. Apparently I was told that there were strange figures, or something, going on down in the basement, and it was disrupted by these "strange figures" reported. Was it via voice or was there something more sinister? Was it perhaps an elaborate prank? I guess that's what I'll find out this time today. After being led to the basement, there were two immediate paths available to go. Wait, what kind of basement looks like this? I sighed and tapped my feet looking between the two paths. It was rather dark as well and my cellphone light didn't quite illuminate the way enough for me to gauge which path I should go first. I sighed and went ahead on one of the paths available to me. No point dawdling around trying to figure this out. But, of course, I went slowly at first so as to be cautious and careful.

Going down into the basement, you take the second path available. You soon come across a door that opens to a rather bright room filled with strange balls of energy. As far as you can tell, they aren't shadows. They definitely seem to be capable of hurting you though!

Staring at what I just saw I couldn't really tell what the hell they actually were, aside from the fact they were literally balls of energy. They all seemed to crackle with some sort of electrical substance and this was probably at least PART of the issue. Staring I pulled out Izayoi and set to work. Upon my entry all the balls of energy appeared to become more nimble, seeming to charge themselves with some form of alacrity, was it an energy overloading? Regardless, I struck at one of the balls, my knife sliced through what appeared to be strange energy alright as my knife phased through it but clearly caused it to disperse slightly, as it reformed. The other two balls flittered around in an unprecedented speed, one let loose a familiar burst of electricity, singing my arm and causing me to flinch backwards, while the other ball charged into me and knocked me over. They definitely could hurt. The odd thing is, they also definitely weren't shadows. What the hell were these things? I stood up, hobbling a little as I regretted coming here alone. Maybe no one would be available to help me anyways, to which I cursed inaudibly under my breath and leaped to action again, striking the same ball I hit the first time, causing it to frazzle about, yet it still remained. Being charged and pelted by electricity was... an unpleasant experience, to say the least.
Yet even so, my body started to smoke from the excess, I had taken down at least one of these chaotic balls of energy, watching as particles flittered and dissipated into relative non-existence. Panting and gasping, I stood back and pulled out my bow, and I began to shoot arrows instead to see what would happen. A good chunk of my arrows ended up missing because of how damn fast they moved, my naked eye couldn't track them down quickly. But what I could land, I stared in amazement as my arrows literally punched holes into the balls that ended up filling up just as fast I punched into them with arrows. Growling, I also had to deal with the threat of being tazed by lightning. I could feel most of my nerves going numb by now. Yet, I continued to try and make pincushions (yes, TRIED to, because of their nature...) and soon enough, the second ball had been dealt with it, leaving one remaining.
In a last ditch attempt to get that one, I threw Izayoi at it, causing my knife to drive through it and making it burst as I had already launched several arrows at it earlier. I saw my knife fall to the ground as it expired, and soon enough I retrieved it, looked around, promptly sighed and wondered if there were any more of these goddamned poltergeist buggers. I wonder how easy it would have been to deal with these things with a Persona.

After fighting a few strange sources of energy, only a single door remains in front of you to advance. The room ahead isn't as bright as the one you're in, but you should still be able to see fairly well.
Upon entering, you notice a larger form of what looks like a common shadow. From the looks of it, the shadow is sending strange charges throughout the building. However, upon noticing you, it stops what it is doing and creates a few more balls of energy much like what you just fought. After that, it simply begins to attack you without mercy!

Another room hidden behind a single door. No choice but to go through... And soon as I do, I see a tiara. A bigger one than what I was usually used to. Was this the source of the problem? It probably was, because as soon as it saw me (how does that thing even see?) it literally created more charged balls of energy, akin to what I had just struggled with, and began to make its attack, immediately casting a weakening spell on me that made me feel much more lethargic. I growled and realized that the charged balls also seemed to glow green, and they flittered about faster and faster. "Nope! Nope!" I sighed and began to shoot arrows at the charged balls of energy. Though, I struggled to string the bow properly and strongly, and the balls responded by tazing me with lightning again. Sighing and kneeling, I soon struck the ball with my knife, it seemed to be a critical strike as the ball dispersed, probably because I had been literally spraying and praying with my bow. However, I gasped as the other ball casted what seemed to be some sort of healing spell on itself, as its dimming glow reverted to its normal radiant self.
I cursed under my breath. "I'd better be paid a lot for this shit." I resumed my firing assault, my arrows zipped past the ball as I missed more often than usual. Meanwhile, the tiara had been content with just conjuring up dark energy beneath my feet, letting me burn a little under the influence. It had been significantly less painful than being shocked with lightning but it was very exhausting especially with the hex placed upon me. Eventually, I struck the ball again with my knife, and after what seemed to be a long while of trading blows, I had finally prevailed against two balls. That still left the goddamn tiara on its goddamn invisible pedestal. And it seemed content to make my life hell as it also had power over the lightning. Weakly aiming my bow at the tiara I shot arrows, and it responded by pelting me with lightning.
Screaming in a mix of rage and pain, I stood my ground despite my body shivering and smouldering, raising my bow and shooting again in response. Once more, the tiara pelted me with lightning. It was, again, a literal war of trading blows. And eventually, as my arms shook and my legs shook, I ended up placing another arrow straight to the gem on the living diadem, causing it to crack and explode, which made the tiara eventually expire and disappear into the darkness. I sighed and braced myself, looking around and making sure I had really eliminated the poltergeist threat.
"THIS HAD BETTER BE WORTH IT." I heaved with my remaining energy as I leaned against a wall to recover slightly.

You finish off the enemies and return up stairs. After checking with the man you met early, he says that the strange activity seemed to have stopped. Looks like you did it.
