Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Tristan had finally decided to do something with his powers. If he planned on defeating his enemy, those creatures, then he was going to need to know some more about them. So he grabbed the scythe that he used as a meager attempt to decorate his apartment and decided to leave the safe zone. It wasn't too terribly long before he found himself in the sewers. This is just... Wonderful. Instead of finding anything out I end up walking in... Grime.
Tristan had no problem with walking in the sewers, it was just... He was lost. And this was meant to be a sort of reconnaissance mission. All he was finding out here was... What people had been having for supper. It took all of his strength not to vomit. This wouldn't turn out well for him or his stomach if he didn't find a way out soon. Everything was melding into one color, and that wasn't helping. Tristan considered turning around, but he was fairly sure he had already doubled back in a large circle. Just then, he thought he heard something. It might have just been a flush, but he was already on edge from being stuck here and wasn't planning on being caught off guard. Wait, caught off guard by what? I'm the only one down here, far as I can tell...
Deciding that it was safe to, Tristan started to walk forward again. He rounded a corner, hoping it was the way out, just to realize that he was no where near an exit. Well... This sucks...

Tristan was unsure how to proceed. He'd been wandering for hours, with no idea of how many turns he made. If he as out in the open, he would follow his footsteps. However, here he had avoided anything that a footstep would have remained in. And not only that, but those noises kept getting louder and closer, so he didn't want to turn around. Yet at the same time, his curiosity was killing him, so he turned for just a brief moment.
That was when he saw the shadows moving. One of them manifested into a table creature, and the other one manifested in a slime sort of form. What the heck? Tristan knew that he wasn't in for a difficult fight, but he still knew not to get overconfident. After all, he wasn't used to fighting these things yet, and he was outnumbered. Still, he could manifest his powers and use that advantage over his enemies.
He summoned Pyro Jack, his pumpkin-headed Persona, and pointed at the slime creature, saying the word "Agi." He didn't know where the word came from, but since it was present in his mind he assumed it was provided by Pyro Jack. A burst of flame came from his pointed finger and engulfed the slime monster, but not destroying it. These things can take a hit, he thought. He grabbed his scythe and started to run towards the slime, but the table thing caught him off guard and shot a burst of flame at him.
Tristan didn't burn as much as he expected, but it still hurt a bit. After all, it was friggin fire. But he was concerned with the slime. He didn't know its capabilities. Until it sent out a thing of darkness. He felt that one a lot more than he did the fire.
God, that one hurt. And I always liked the dark... He knew that joking around with himself wouldn't help, but it took his mind off the pain. He closed the distance between himself and the creature, and then sunk the blade of the scythe into its being before it vanished into thin air. Turning towards the table, he called out "your friend is gone. And now it's your turn!"
He started running towards the table, who blasted another flame attack at him. "Surely," Tristan started with a grin. "You can do better than that." With those words, he jumped towards the table and slashed at it with the scythe. The table, in return, jumped into the air and crashed down into him. Starting to cough up blood, Tristan thought to manifest Pyro Jack again. A new word came to his mind as Jack did, and he said to himself "Dia." Jack lifted his lantern over Tristan, who started to feel as if he wasn't dying. However, He was starting to lose concentration.
Seeing an opening, the table crashed into Tristan again, who smiled. "You know what?" He asked the table, unsure if it could even respond if it wanted to. "You're starting to piss me off!" He charged at the table creature then and swung the scythe through it's body, causing it to vanish. "What a friggin annoying little piece of crap."
He concentrated as hard as he could, bringing Pyro Jack back and casting Dia again. Then, starting to become mentally exhausted, he continued to turn randomly through the maze, hoping to find an exit before getting jumped again.

Tristan knew he was in no condition to last another fight where he was outnumbered. If someone else were to show up, sure... But I don't know if anyone else has these powers... He was in a bit of a jam. Still, he had friggin powers! He could handle himself against monsters! He was really strong to hold his own like that. Then he started to think. It was a tripod table... And a slime thing that looked like it was about dead anyway. Suddenly, he didn't feel so powerful. He had been coughing up blood, for Pete's sake! If it didn't turn out that there were others, he would die. Unless he got stronger, of course.
Deep in thought, he didn't pay any attention to where he was going. He didn't even look up until he say light. Daylight? He started running forward, towards the exit he had been searching for. And it seemed he had found it just in time, for after he started running out into fresh air, he heard the howling scream of another monster, cutting Tristan's escape celebration short. Unsure if the creatures were able to come out into the sunlight or not, he ran for the hills.
