Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
Holly searched around the outer circle for a few hours today for any sign of a new area with strong shadows to explore. She was sure she checked...almost everywhere. There were a couple of places she didn't really want to go, and she absolutely refused to go into the sewers. That was just disgusting. So, once again, she decided to explore the mines. She was pretty sure she had gotten pretty much anything she was going to get out of this place, yet there wasn't anywhere better for her to explore. It was a rather frustrating feeling.
Those shadows would soon be feeling her frustration.

It looked like even the shadows were starting to get bored of being here. These ones just looked bored and depressed; they clearly weren't taking care of themselves at all. Holly almost felt bad that she was about to murder them horribly.
Tarukaja, charge, stab: it was proving to be an effective strategy for the most part for this area due to the lack of places to run or stuff to blow around with her wind spell. The dice would make a fine meatshield today. Normally it might make more sense to use a table as a shield, but she didn't want to crawl under a shadow like that. That would just be weird. The dice sent out its own wind attack at where she was moments before, thus missing her. The table did something similar, though it looked more like it was shooting splinters. Regardless, they also missed.
What followed was a pretty standard battle for her: control the dice's movements by stabbing it and pushing it around using it to absorb the table's attacks, taking the dice's attacks as best she can which was no problem in this case because it randomly switched between something that would do very little damage to her and something that hurt but she could handle fine, and she would send her own attacks at the table. The table went down faster than she was expecting, but any speed she gained from the table having a wind weakness was lost when she found out the dice had a wind resistance, thus forcing her to use her knives. The battle took a little while, but thanks to her ability to heal she wasn't too concerned about it. In the end, it just left her a bit beat up and tired as these kinds of fights tended to.

More shadows dead and still no sign of something interesting. She had come to this place so many times. The barrier was gone, there was nothing stopping her from going further besides her own common sense. The shadows were uninteresting, this place was uninteresting, and yet the universe didn't even throw her a bone and give her something new to look at or a shiny new toy to play with or pawn off to the weapon shop owner. Life was so unfair sometimes. Sighing, she collected herself, healed her wounds and made her way back to the entrance. There weren't even that many shadows to fight on the way back, this place had fewer shadows than most of the places she had visited in the past. Life was just so very unfair.
