Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

"Making the existence of such things public would create... problems. It would probably be more dangerous especially considering the adventurous nature of the youth of this generation... I think, if they knew, they might want to explore, and if they got spotted by Shadows and then... you know, killed, it would plant seeds of chaos. Something left completely and entirely unknown is better than something made known but completely restricted." I muttered. "I agree with the decision of your superiors and partners in withholding the information. Anyway, if I see that kid again, I'll let lead him to you, then. In a discrete way, of course." Something deep inside me told me I didn't really want to see him again. He seemed almost warped. Worse than I was. Even if he was simply a machine at heart (dohoho!).
Alisa's response made sense, at least. It wasn't what Pyxis wanted to hear, but she couldn't argue with it. She couldn't deny being all that different herself. But in her case, at least, she was heavily armed. Most humans weren't. "It sounds like most humans are even dumber than I thought," she said. "Or at least, as far as self-preservation instincts are concerned. Curiosity is a trait I am innately familiar with. In fact, you could say I was built around it, so I think I understand. But...if I'm destroyed, I can be rebuilt. Humans can't. You'd think they'd recognize that too."
Pyxis stood up again, turning up the sensitivity on her sensors as she did so. Shadow activity was still sparse, with no immediate threads, but what shadows were still around were much closer now. Ignoring them would be a problem now. "I'm picking up shadow activity nearby. You should go. Even if you are 'battle-hardened' it would still go against my mission to let a non-Persona-user endanger herself. And..." she turned back, grinning. "In the future, don't let me catch you stalking me again. If you need something, just ask me directly."

Pyxis made a quip about how most humans were even more stupid than she thought. I couldn't blame her. Most people were stupid. Humanity was a fickle thing. She mentioned something about self-preservation instinct. "Yes, humans do have self-preservation. On the other hand, their sense of adventure and their innate desire to do Something Cool seems to take precedence. When self-survival instincts kick in, it's usually too late," I responded to the first comment as Pyxis also noted that she picked up shadow activity nearby. She said I shouldn't get in her way. Fine, I'll be polite. It was the least I could do. I did promise to leave her alone. I decided to ignore her final comment. "Gotcha. I'll be on my way, I did say I would leave you be. Watch your back then. For Shadows. Not for me. Heh."
I made my way back to the city, leaving Pyxis to her own devices.
