Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Despite Luka's apprehensiveness about returning to the large castle solely due to the fact that she would have to climb the steps leading to it, the girl was there once again. This time, she took it upon herself to go up the stairs as fast as she could while still being safe about it. She just wanted to shrink the amount of time spent on those awful stairs.
She walked quickly up the stairs until she was finally safe inside the shadow-filled castle. Ironically enough, the girl felt safer in the castle filled with some of the most powerful shadows in the circle than on those stairs. Thankfully that part was over once again. Unfortunately, she would be loathing the inevitable return down the steps. For now though, she would focus on navigating through this castle that she didn't really get much of a chance to explore last time.

Luka managed to reach a bit deeper into the castle this time, exploring a few floors before coming across anything hostile. And when she did, she heard them first. Honestly, why was this castle filled was such large enemies? Was there nothing normal sized here at all? Regardless, the girl couldn't complain seeing that she had an attack of opportunity. Before engaging, the girl decided to increase her attack power to its maximum, then charged for a powerful opening move.
With her persona Hel out, the girl targeted the two large target wandering about the room. All at once, the room was filled with a dark fog that seemed to eat at the two enemies; or so Luka would have liked. Instead, it seemed that one of them was completely immune to her attacks. As for the other one, it was still standing but barely. In an attempt to narrow the fight to a one on one, Luka fired an ice attack at the weakened shadow, freezing it instantly. Not a moment later, it shattered before dissolving into the air.
With that, the girl's attention focused on the remaining enemy knight that was making its way over to her. While she prepared to dodge the attack, Luka began to charge up for an attack of her own. The rather large knight thrust its sword at Luka during this process, to which Luka quickly had Hel take the hit for. However, the blow was strong enough to completely shatter Hel, allowing the knight to continue forward and trample Luka. Sustaining a powerful mental and physical blow, the girl quickly got up while clenching the side of her head. Pulling the trigger of her evoker as it was pressed against her head, Hel re-materialized. With some careful aiming, the girl shot at the base of the knight, causing it to trample over itself.
Slowly walking over towards the now toppled knight, the girl held her head that now had a small stream of blood going down its side. Again she began to charge her next attack as she made her way over. Slowly, the knight managed to get up and turn towards the girl. Just in time for this, Hel materialized another ice attack and sent it at the enemy. Though it was strong like the last, it did not knock over the enemy again. At most, it slowed it down a bit as it began to charge at Luka for another strike.
Luka had memorized its movements from the last attack, however. Watching as it made the same movement as before, the girl dodged to the side before willing another ice attack to its flank. From this close of a range, the force was strong enough to knock the knight over where it slowly began to dissolve. Wiping a bit of blood off of her forehead, the girl let out a tired sigh.

That fight had been harder than the last one. She certainly needed to be more careful when dealing with shadows here. Actually, how long ago had it been since a shadow managed to draw blood from her? Luka couldn't remember. Though, she wasn't really in any condition to be worrying about that. In fact, when she began to make her way down the awful staircase, the pain outweighed her worrying over the distance between her and the ground.
Finally finishing her trip in the castle, the girl made her way home so that she could get cleaned up and hopefully get a bit of rest. That was enough exploration for now.
