Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Some time passed as the two of them trekked the city's outskirts. The shadowy area had gone quite a distance already. The remains of a few outlying villages could be seen here and there. Regardless, they continued in a straight path. There had to be an end to this. Surely their city wasn't the only place to survive. Luka's thoughts continued to wander on the subject. From the silence of their walk, the woman spoke again. This time, she was curious about her name. A fair enough question as well. She also mentioned something about an "information network." Well, she did say she was an investigator. Something like that was probably normal.
Finally done pondering, Luka responded to her. Rukako Kurokawa. You may call me Luka, though. It is nice to meet you. "Meet" was probably not the correct word seeing as the two of them had been walking together for quite some time. Speaking of which, Luka was beginning to give up on the trek. The purple sky didn't seem to end a for quite a way down. She sighed, then began to turn back to Alisa as she spoke. It doesn't seem like we're anywhere near an exit. It might be be- Luka felt her face mash into something, creating a noise that seemed to resonate around her. She crouched down to the ground and began to pout slightly. Uuuuu. . . There was an invisible wall here. Well, it was slightly visible, but Luka didn't seem to notice it. Could this actually be the end? Luka couldn't tell or not of course, as she was busy whimpering over walking into the wall face first.

This freaking place is going on forever, isn't it? I was thinking that maybe there really wasn't an end to this, but we kept on going. I think deep down inside, the girl wanted to believe in there being an exit. I mean, fer chrissakes, we've been walking in a line as straight as a freakin' arrow for... ...How long has it been, anyway? I checked my phone. Sure enough, there was no signal, but it looked like we had been walking for at least a couple of hours. Geez. That's a long time. ...Well, it seemed to be going fine until the girl spoke up and answered me, saying that her name was Rukako Kurokawa. I think I'll stick to Luka, thanks. Turns out this Luka girl had been at this for a while now, since she didn't seem to complain about how freaking long we were taking. However, I literally saw her seemingly stumble and crouch down over nothing. Did... did she hit her face against an invisible force? What? Is this even real life? I tilted my head.
"Hey, are you alright?" I asked Luka as I stood next to her and groped the air in front of me for a bit. "Is there something here? Did we find an end to this?"

Luka was tearing up slightly from behind hit in the face, but she wiped any sign of that away and slowly rose to her feet. I'm fine. I think I found what I was looking for though. She certainly did. Luka began to feel around the invisible wall; watching as the barrier that prevented her from moving on faded in and out of visibility as she touched it. It was what she was looking for, but certainly not what she was hoping for. Pulling out her evoker, she summoned her persona and sent an ice attack at the barrier. The attack was completely deflected, of course. No good. . . Though, this answers my questions. There was no immediate escape, but there certainly was an outside. We can't escape. Not like this, anyway. But outside of this barrier lies freedom. I think. She couldn't be sure. She was glad that she made this trip though. There were a number of scenarios regarding how this could have turned out. It wasn't the best scenario, but it gave Luka some hope.
We'll need to find out how to get past this wall. Something must be maintaining it. In any case, we should probably head back. It was pretty dangerous out here and they had already accomplished what they needed. Unless there is somewhere else you wish to go? It was worth asking, at least. She could lead Alisa nearly anywhere she wanted. And thankfully, she still had the energy to do so.

I stared at Luka attempt to launch some sort of magical ice blast at that... well, whatever's there, I presume it's thanks to her Persona... But even with all that sort of power, nothing seemed to actually happen... I guess there's an invisible wall or barrier or something there. Of course all that did was confirm our suspicions that right now, we can't actually get out. Luka had asked me if there was anywhere else I wished to go. Come to think of it, I hadn't really thought about that much. I hadn't seen any signs of my parents, but this is far more important. I think they would rather have me work on this case than work on the case of their disappearance or murder... Yeah, I think that's the case. Oh well. I'll just need to...
"No thank you, Luka..." I said. "You've already helped me enough by taking me this far. If possible, though... Mind giving me your contact details? If I can find anything on this from back home I might be able to let you know about it. Sound good?"
Yeah, maybe I should work with her? It seems like something I can do while I'm stuck without these 'Persona' things.

Alisa thanked Luka for taking her through the Outer Circle. Luka didn't feel that she needed to be praised, but she chose to acknowledge it, nodding to her. Honestly, she had only accomplished her own goal. For this girl, she would still be looking for her parents. It would have been nice to at least shed some light on their disappearance. Though, it was hard to turn up anything out here. Luka turned back around to Alisa as she heard the rest of her statement.
Contact info? That was what she had asked for. Luka was not opposed to giving it out. However, she was never one to be asked for it. In this case though, it may serve a good purpose. Sure. Pulling out her phone, she exchanged contact info with Alisa. Alisa may not have been a persona-user, but Luka felt that she could be just as important in the salvation of the city as she was. With that taken care of, she looked towards the silhouette of the city. Now then, shall we be off?

"Yeah, let's get going. Never might know what'll turn up around here." I murmured (albeit audibly) as I also turned back and looked at the city. Damn, it was pretty far away alright. Nothing on my parents, but this was a big first step. Of course, it'll be much easier for me to find out about my parents if I had the power to do so, but I don't. I have Luka's contact information now, though, so I can just communicate with her if I've got anything interesting. Anyway... Getting back was a priority now. I've stayed here too long. Coming and going in bursts would be more productive than spending too much time in one place and risking imminent danger. I've been lucky enough to find people willing to protect me, but maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to protect myself. Sigh. If only.
