Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Tristan had never been here. It was that simple. However, he had no chance of getting lost, due to the fact that he could just follow the rails back. Still, he felt like he would have nothing to do here. He felt he was wasting his own time. Yet, he also felt he needed to know the extent of his powers. It wouldn't do him any good of going up against a stronger creature than he could handle. So, he was here. He had heard that armed people were sighted coming here, and Tristan put two and two together.
He was walking along the tracks, scythe in hand, waiting to catch sight of a suitable... Test subject.

Tristan rounded a corner too slime things appear from nowhere. These will do... he thought with a smile. One of the slimes was red, while the other was yellow. I'll take care of the yellow one first he thought as he brought Pyro Jack out. "Agi!" he yelled, pointing at the creature. As Pyro sent a burst of flame, Tristan ran towards the red one with his scythe extended from his arm. While the yellow thing was evaporated by the fireball, the red one seemed to throw it's whole being at Tristan. Dodging this, Tristan brought his weapon down, plunging it into the mass of slime, which then disappeared.
Two down. And I still feel good. Let's see how much further we can go, shall we? With this thought, Tristan left the site of the battle, continuing on deeper.

Tristan was experiencing mixed feelings. On the one side, he was glad that he was able to defeat those shadows easily; on the other, he was disappointed by how easy it was. He kept walking forward, hoping to encounter some other monsters before he turned around. He wanted to push himself slightly, just enough that he could see his capabilities. Was that too much to ask? He hoped not, or else he was going to go home bored.
He thought about turning around, but he quickly dismissed those thoughts. With thinking like that, how would he ever get stronger? He felt ashamed of himself, and stopped paying attention to where he was going, just following the path he was on.
