Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka made her way around the West Mosaic Ruins in search of a strange figure that was supposedly seen around the city. This was, of course on request of the strange woman that ran The Gap. The first two missions seemed more like menial errands, which eventually turned out to be considerable challenges. But this one? This mission seemed more like something important in regards to the safety of the city. Though, the description of the target seemed rather odd. A figure in a white suit that danced? Luka could only assume that it was a shadow, but one wearing a white suit that danced? She hadn't encountered something like that before. She was fine as long as it wasn't going to be an issue fighting it.
The girl had originally picked this mission before anyone else did. However, a partner signed up shortly after; a familiar face. It likely wasn't a coincidence either. Akira, who had been her partner for the last two missions they took, had also signed up for the mission. When she learned this fact, Luka wasn't exactly sure how to feel. The last two missions they went on together ended up with them getting into some tough situations, whether it had anything to do with them or not. Then there was Akira's habit of constantly teasing her. Though, this was a mission so the girl could at least expect the atmosphere to be significantly more serious.
Like the last mission they went on, the two of them met up ahead of time before searching for their target. As of now, they were on the lookout for the mysterious figure in hopes of catching him.

Frankly, if a mission was ranked as being difficult and left the option of teaming up available, the boy saw no reason for other Users to tackle them entirely by themselves. There was no telling what a mission could entail, and if one were by themselves, that just meant that the threat increased. Naturally, when he saw that his perpetual mission partner had taken one of such assignments, he listed himself as the second participant. The girl could say what she wanted, but the boy was confident in his own capabilities as a solo fighter, as well as a team support unit. The fact that they had experience together was also a determining factor. They'd worked together enough that he could honestly say he didn't mind continuing their trend.
”This goes without saying, but keep your guard up. This particular mission gave me an bad feeling. Not only that, but my Murphy-senses are tingling.” It was perfectly natural for the boy to be on his guard for anything that blonde requested their actions for, but he really did feel that something bad was going to happen. Call it women's intuition. Well, no. That wasn't wholly applicable. Trap's intuition? Intuition of an undefined nature. He nodded to himself with that mental declaration. Of course, it went without saying that he was going to maintain a cheerful air, even when potentially dancing with death. Someone had to keep the mood positive.
That said, the boy was already prepped for trouble. Scissors in his left hand and evoker in his right, he scanned the area, twirling and walking backwards every now and then to cover their six. He also stared at the ground, considering their last mission, and, occasionally, the sky. Be it from the front or back, left or right, below or above, the boy was ready for anything.
”I spy, with my little eye, something bleak and depressing.” He noted after a bit.

As you walk around in search of your target, you spot something in the clearing. Something white. Specifically, someone in a white suit, complete with a hat. You can't really make out his face, but before you can move. . . he strikes a pose.
After that, he remains still for a moment. Then again, he moves. Another pose. And then another. The pause between each movement gradually became less and less until he began to move around seamlessly. He doesn't approach you, seeming to move around within the same general vicinity. Its possible he's taunting you. One thing is certain though; a large amount of power is coming from him.
And then, he points at you. Doushio? What do you do?

It seemed Akira had felt the same uneasy feeling about the mission. At least, he seemed somewhat cautious. And why shouldn't they be? This mission was labelled for the most experienced of users. The last one they took from this category was a real pain in their side. Literally. Especially for Luka who. . . was physically grabbed and squeezed several times.
After a bit of walking though, Luka noticed something causing her to immediately stop. White suit. Dancing. That was their target alright. And it seemed it was coming this way. Akira. She looked over at Akira for a moment. Hopefully he knew what she was thinking.
Pulling out her evoker, the girl summoned her persona Hel and allowed her to charge up for an attack. Perhaps the two of them could make quick work of this foe? Then again, they didn't even know if he would be hostile or not to them. But they hadn't actually attacked yet; only prepared. In her opinion, they had made the smartest move.

”I knew there was something bad about this.” Akira sighed as his evoker met with his temple. Pulling the trigger, the boy summoned Alma Elma before putting the evoker back inside his jacket. The crossdresser already knew how this would end up. There was no reason to assume a peaceful ending to this gathering. Assume the worst and create the best outcome. That was what he was going to do. It was time to relish in his new capabilities. Every battle brought him one step closer to his goals. This one would be no exception to the rule. He wondered how he could better himself after this.
”Time for some Rukakaja!” He started before giggling lightly. ”Just kidding. Alma, Heat Riser!” He teased the girl, only to reveal his new power. Shadows had used it before, and now he had that chance. Alma Elma emitted a blast of heat over himself and the girl. He could feel his spirits soaring. He felt stronger, faster, and much more resilient. Two more of those, and this dancer wannabe was rightly, truly, and thoroughly screwed. Of course, he wouldn't get ahead of himself. He knew better than that.
Action: Heat Riser, baby. Get that youthful passion flowing.

As the strange figure points at you, he remains still for a little bit. Maybe he isn't hostile? After all, you were only sent here to check on him. Ah, no. He's hostile.
[The Hat]
After stopping, he reaches for his hat and tosses it at both of you for major slash damage!
[Moonwalk]
The shadow becomes exceedingly fast! Sukukaja x3!
[The Hat] [Neverland] [Man in the Mirror] [Moonwalk] [Pose]
Repel: ? Absorb: ? Null: ? Resist: ? Weak: ?
He seems to be done now though. Looks like you're definitely going to be fighting though.

Indeed, Akira did have the same idea. That was good. She knew what spell he would use now; only she was caught off guard by what he decided to call it. She really shouldn't have been, given how he had done it before. Luckily, the girl had time to deliver a swift kick to his leg. It wasn't a serious kick in the least, but she felt the need to do it. Of course, soon after the girl was surprised by what he actually had done. The boy said Heat Riser. This was Rakukaja, right? But she also felt Tarukaja; and something else. This was rather interesting to the girl.
After they had made their move, the shadow took it upon itself to attack as well. It tossed its hat of all things. But the scary part? It hurt a lot. Getting hit in the side, Luka stepped back a moment. This fight really wouldn't be easy. Hel. Hell's Judgement! Well, this might get confusing. She had a persona named Hel and a spell called Hell's Judgement. She had just put that fact together.
The girl's persona formed a massive ball of dark energy that it sent hurdling at the enemy. That was gonna hurt if it hit.

Ignoring the girl's attempts at resistance, the boy focused on the enemy. The Shadow- or whatever it was- used its hat as a weapon. Its hat. It used a damned hat. What the actual hell. And, while it hurt pretty badly, the damage was reduced thanks to the first Heat Riser he used. Taking a small breath, the boy focused and considered it. Even in a worst-case scenario, they could take a few more of those. But the boy had no intentions of leaving things as they were. No, instead, he was prepared to further mitigate the damage before moving on to healing them.
”Again, Alma Elma! Heat Riser!” He declared with a slight wave of his scissors. The succubus emitted another wave of heated support on the two, building their power further.

The strange figure saw the attack coming in and began to move around at insane speeds! Luckily, the attack itself proved to be nearly as fast. And nearly as fast seemed to be just enough for it to land, dealing a significant amount of damage and knocking the enemy down!
With a quick recovery up, the strange figure began to walk around as if floating across the ground.
[Pose]
The figure strikes a pose! Nothing happens.
[Neverland]
Going straight from a pose, the shadow lifts a finger in the air as a large ball of energy descends onto the two of you! You both take major almighty damage!
Judging from the figure's dancing, it is slightly worn out. Though faint, his movement and rhythm is slightly off. That attack had left a large impression on him it seemed.

Again, Akira used that strange buffing ability. That would certainly come in handy for later. Not just here, but for future battles. As for her, she had this ridiculously powerful attack of her own. Watching it hit the enemy, she managed to knock it off its feet on the first try! Not bad.
When it got up, rather than attack, it decided to strike a pose. Luka blinked in response, but soon turned back on the defensive as she watched it create a large ball of energy that it sent down onto the two of them. The force pushed her back again, but not enough to make her fall. I'm going for another attack. She stated her intentions to Akira who was likely going to use that ability once more. I think I can last another hit just fine. On that note, the girl began to charge up for a second blast of dark energy.

Luka's attack had been pretty effective. She was a good magical cannon. He had not noticed her ever actually doing much else, though. If an enemy nullified those attributes, things would have likely gone south for her. Well, that was beside the point. She was effective at the present. The enemy, in response, acted like a washed-up has-been, before blasting them with energy. Luckily, Heat Riser acted to reduce the intake further than before. On top of that? He was about to layer it on for a third and final time, which would max out their offensive, defensive, and evasive capabilities.
”Good. I'll start healing after this one. Should be smooth sailing from there on out! Alma, Heat Riser!” The boy demanded as a third pulse of heated energy filled the two. Sure, healing would have been good to fit in sooner as opposed to later, but the more he layered up enhancements, the shorter the fight would actually be.

The strange figure had a free turn to simply attack as he pleased. Nothing came at him this round. With that in mind, the strange figure took the opportunity to do a bit more than usual.
[Man in the Mirror]
A barrier surrounds the strange figure. The next physical attack is repelled back!
[Pose]
The figure strikes a pose!
[The Hat]
The strange figure tosses his hat at the two of you dealing major slash damage!
He's still off-beat, but the shadow is more then capable of going a few more rounds.

Akira topped off the two of them in terms of strength. Luka knew for sure that she could take whatever the shadow threw at her next. It started off by throwing up some sort of barrier. Though, it didn't seem like it would be of any consequence to her. Then another pose, followed by that hat. Luka attempted to take evasive action, only to be hit in the side once more.
The girl felt herself wanting to drop to one knee. Instead of that though, the girl motioned Hel to the front once more. Again, a large ball of dark energy formed and was sent towards the ground at the enemy!
Action: Dark Flame Blast, Ultimate God Kill Attack

Another smack of the hat, and the duo was left standing and sorely unimpressed by the asshole in white's attack. Oh well. That was to be expected after the boy maximized their battle potential. With a slight stretch of his arms, Akira smiled. Once he began healing, unless this guy had some major card up his sleeves, the battle was all but done. Just had to wait it out. Luka fired off another attack, and the boy willed for a Mediarama. Alma Elma spread her arms out, floating above them, and produced a healing wave of warmth over them. While it was not enough, on its own, to fully heal them, it sure did a number of the damage they had taken.
Even with the enemy still alive and kicking, it'd only be a matter of time before the two were back at “full health”.

The shadow took on the full blast of the attack that was dealt to him. Again, he was knocked down to which he got back up a tad slower than before. It looked like he was at the end of the line.
[Neverland]
Once more, the shadow hurled down a ball of energy. this time, dealing severe damage to the both of you! Seems he's desperate.
The dancing continues, though it is clearly very off. Seems he's almost done in!
