Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
"That would be for the best. It's better to survive on your own anyway." she responded. She wondered what happened at Sakuya's old school that caused her to not get accepted to other schools. It was probably the way that the woman would go berserk and attack anyone in sight. Either way, the woman had survived on her own which had its pros. The death of her parents had also caused her to survive independently without any help except for a few friends. Survival was essential when there was Shadows about in the outer circle. It was this way of life that many Persona-users were here today, it seemed. There were other questions she had to ask, but not one of them were strange enough. She figured that the woman would be able to answer some of it. She asked, "What's your favorite food?"

Sakuya nodded in agreement as Isolde said that it was better to survive on one's own merits and strengths. Yes, in this time and age, survival was the key. While 'survival of the fittest' was a philosophy Sakuya didn't totally agree with, she DID agree with the part where one needed to become strong in order to survive on their own, and avoid being dependent on others. Admittedly, she indirectly became dependent on others providing her with work, but that was quite a technicality - it was still Sakuya advertising her services for people to pay and avail of. Soon, Isolde posed another mundane question - what was her favourite food? "Hmm, that's a tough question. I don't consider myself a gourmet but I do have a wide variety of tastes. I'm a fan of Western cuisine, mostly, which is funny considering I was born in Japan, but you know, them's the breaks. I mean, I did manage to catch some sick gyros in that one Mediterranean place, yeah? I love gyros. And shawarmas. Those kinds of foods. Wraps? Yeah, that's the stuff..." Sakuya licked her lips just imagining the food.

"Sounds delicious. I usually like to eat salmon, barbecue, or some gourmet steak. Gyros sound good. I'll like to try some of those when I have the time." she responded. It was okay for this woman to like Western cuisine as Mosaic City was known to be a melting pot for some immigrants. And she figured that the woman loved trying new things that were foreign to her. It was a rather mundane question to ask, but anything could satiate that curiosity from that point on. On the other hand, western cuisine was something she had been accustomed to since her introduction to barbecue and other types of meat. She assumed that gyros were a type of meat that Americans liked to eat. But what about their favorite colors? That would be another question she could ask. She asked, "Forgive me if this is a bit mundane, but what is your favorite color?"

Sakuya nodded in agreement. Fish and meats were alright with her, though she didn't enjoy eating them in excess. She smiled when Isolde mentioned she would try it when she had the time. It seemed the Princess was curious on Sakuya's likes and dislikes. Come to think of it, what kind of Shadow did one have to be to possess characteristics that were so close to that of a normal human's? Was it to do with the fact they took over the human aspect entirely and assimilated them? Or did it have to do with the lingering will of hope that still remained in the human aspect? It was an intriguing thought to Sakuya that became bigger as the conversation with the Princess dragged on. Soon, Sakuya was asked about her favourite color.
"Mine? It's purple. It's the color of royalty, they say, but... It's also nigh unobservable in the natural world. Purple is a mystifying color. It is a mixture of red and blue. Both are colors that imply many things about my disposition too."

Sakuya fidgeted. So they shared a same favourite colour? Alright. No harm in that. After all, Isolde was a princess. It was a stereotypical thought at the basest level, but Sakuya honestly couldn't help it. And now, Sakuya was queried on her fashion sense. Lovely. Well, in her Shadow form, she didn't really wear much of... well, anything. On the other hand... "Me? Well... I tend to favour more conservative clothing. I mean, business wear. I'm really into suits and uniforms and all that jazz. They can be very attractive. I prefer seeing the more skimpy clothing on other females rather than myself, to be honest, if only because I would look worse in such clothing than the stuff I wore right now. Why do you ask? Would you like some fashion tips?"

Sakuya tilted her head as Isolde moved from fashion to video games, though the princess did mention desiring some tips from Sakuya sooner or later. "Well, I'd be glad to give you some tips. In any case... What video games do I play? Well, I don't really stick to a particular genre, I just pick the games that I think looks interesting and fun. I only started getting into video games recently when I realized everybody else was getting into them, and when I tried some I figured that some of them were pretty neat, so why not kill some time and play games?" Sakuya nodded. "I think they're a frivolous time waster but they can be quite entertaining and sometimes even enlightening at times, if you find the 'art games' and crap. Though there is a lot of debate as to whether games could be considered art..."

Sakuya nodded as Isolde mentioned that they were good time-wasters. However, she hadn't played video games before and seemed willing to have Sakuya help her on getting the ropes on playing. Sakuya wasn't sure what kind of games Isolde would enjoy - probably story-driven games. Usually RPGs or action-RPG kind of games. Sakuya was alright with those but wasn't as big of a fan than the hardcore demographic. "Well, I'll be glad to help you sometime," Sakuya said. "As for what kind of books I like to read, I usually deal with non-fiction books. I enjoy reading more about the world around us and trying to educate myself. It can help me score some brownie points with some of the more intellectually-driven ladies, and I do enjoy intellectual discussion. You sure are interested in my hobbies, huh~?"

"I see," Sakuya said as Isolde shed some insight on her own reading habits. Romance novels? Those were a thing, alright. "Alright, that's good to know. It was nice chatting with you about these things as well." Sakuya stretched and sprawled a little on her spot. "It's hard for me to believe that I'm really speaking to an exiled princess from another land, but I think it's been a rather enlightening experience for me, know what I'm saying? Mosaic City is really something. A melting pot of cultures, so to speak. It's pretty amazing. Wouldn't you agree, dear?" Sakuya spouted randomly, she was looking up at the sky almost as if reminiscing on her experiences with the girls and women she's encountered here in the city.

Sakuya tilted her head. She seemed to be a young woman of relatively few words, only passively stating her agreement or disagreement, or making some comment related to her own experiences. She scratched her head following that, and started to formulate a response to what she had just heard. "Well, it's absolutely wonderful to see that you have pleasant experiences with men," Sakuya rolled her eyes almost teasingly. "Well, in any case, it seems like we could probably get along reasonably well. Are you on a tight schedule, perhaps? I am wondering if I am taking up too much of your time and I most certainly would not want to disturb you if you had more important things to do than talk to someone like myself."

"Well, my schedule is mostly free, so I'll have time to hang out with you. Besides, it is nice to meet new people as I get to learn something new from them. I'm not doing anything important at the moment, so don't worry about disturbing me." she responded with a smile. Sakuya was certainly talkative since she loved conversations like these. It made her think that she should just come out of her shell, otherwise people will think that she was a sheltered aristocrat. It was true that she was quite regal and dignified in the mask that she had presented to others. Deep inside, there was sadness, a longing to see her sister again and promising to make a better world for her to live in. Peace would most likely come soon if those Shadows were defeated. It was this resolve that she strived to purge the world of its sins to pave way for a peaceful world. Even so, she'll have to plan everything out for when she returned home to make a political comeback.

Sakuya nodded and fidgeted. Isolde seemed to be free most of the time and mentioned that she would have time to hang out. That was cool. "Alright, that's great," Sakuya said, stretching once more. "Come to think of it, I hate to say this, but I think I've actually run out of things to talk about. Hmm..." she eventually said after prolonging a moment of awkward silence. To her, Isolde seemed to be a little peculiar, though she was some sort of aristocrat she didn't seem to be too stuck up about it or anything, though her manner of speech was much more stilted than Sakuya's own. At least, that's how Isolde came across to Sakuya. "That said, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours. You'll probably need it, I guess. This business is a dangerous one."

Sakuya scoffed. "That woman doesn't deserve any retribution on my part. She can do what she wants. I'm done with her. She's rich as a goddamn queen and I don't give a crap," Sakuya sighed and looked away. "Now, I take care of myself and whoever I manage to bless myself with as a close friend. Human, Persona User or Shadow, I have my own agenda to fulfill and I will do what it takes to get it down on the dot." Sakuya knew that she could only really trust herself and perhaps Jaelyn. But nobody else. Anybody else she made friends with would probably only remain friends. However, there was the matter of that girl she took to bed; the mute with the phone. She would surely try to get her revenge on her. Sakuya knew it would be near impossible to reconcile their differences at this point. She had literally been there. So she knew. Yet, she was unhinged and did it anyway.
"That's all."

Sakuya grinned and looked up at the sky again. "Do you think so? You think humans and Shadows can get along? You're quite peculiar," she said. "I believe there would be some humans - Persona Users like yourself - who would perceive me as a definite threat to the safety of civilians. While I am confident there are Shadows like me who are far more threatening and more capable of wonton destruction, I trust you are aware of this. That said, I would like to express my thanks for your understanding..." Sakuya actually wasn't entirely sure how Isolde figured it out from what she had already said, but she figured Isolde was just smarter than she seemed and didn't question that just yet. "I wouldn't really harm anyone for no reason - I'm not that kind of thing, after all. Just don't provoke me and we'll be fine. I am just a bit biased against men but I believe I've spoken about that enough." she nodded off.

Sakuya smiled at Isolde. She couldn't help but wonder if Isolde had an ulterior motive - she acknowledged the imminent turmoil that would come from Persona Users interacting with Sakuya and that they may turn on Isolde for the seeming cooperation, but she didn't seem to care. "So you would turn on your allies before betraying your ideals?" Sakuya continued, now looking squarely at Isolde, intently but without malice. "Hopefully not, we should pray it didn't come to that... But I do appreciate your vote of confidence in me. It's alright, I can take care of myself, I would hate to see someone of your type throw away your life like that..." Though come to think of it, when did she even come up with that kind of belief? Sakuya mentally shuddered to think about it.

Sakuya shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me if they understand or not as long as they don't get in my way," she continued, stretching and standing up. "Regardless, I'm sorry to take up your time like that. It was a spur of the moment thing. It would be best for me to make my leave, I have things I need to do now. I apologize, but it was nice to meet you. Take care and have a nice day." she simply said as she stretched her arms and legs out while standing and began to trot away. Clearly, this Isolde was a strange person but she definitely didn't seem like a bad person to be around. She was accepting of the notion that Shadows and humans could coexist and seemed to be perfectly willing to fight to defend that ideal. Sakuya was a Shadow for sure but definitely didn't see anything wrong with that kind of thinking. Sakuya simply only hoped that Isolde would not get herself killed with that kind of idealism.
