Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
The mute made her way deeper into the mines. Her body shuddered. Pain was there, but faint. However, that pain was not from the attacks fired off by her enemies. It was from Sayu's constant rubbing and scratching, her reflexive reaction to the germs she felt crawling between her clothes and her body. She had, after a time, stopped in her tracks, panting and hugging herself. She had chills. She wasn't ill, mind you, nor was she actually in bad shape. It was all in the head. She knew that, but she still couldn't change what had been a way of life for so long in just a day.
What she could do was press onward and work towards overcoming those weaknesses.
A new wave of disgust overcame the girl as foul scents pummeled her nostrils. With a cold glare and a sincere lack of care or love, the girl summoned Tamamo-no-Mae, ready to blast the Shadows away. Naturally, her first order was the fires of purification, and the wave of fire bathed everything in sight. One of the three foul-smelling Mayas was completely burned away in the baptism of fire. The other two, though weakened, were certainly still alive. This was further nailed in home by the fact that they were blasting wind and lightning at her. With a careful sidestep aided by the fox, the girl avoided both torrents of energy. With light, dance-like steps, the mute twirled out of the way, demanding another offensive from the fox.
The second baptism of destruction overcame both the Shadows, leaving nothing behind. Taking a moment to gauge the situation, Sayu slowly began to relax. The germs were still nibbling at her body, but she needed to chill.

Sayu let out a sigh when no reinforcements showed. She was relieved, but also annoyed. Relief existed due to the lack of a need to get even more dirty, but the annoyance had sprouted from the lack of a chance to improve herself. Panting and rubbing her arms over her sides, she tried to build warmth to burn away any germs under her clothes. It was futile, and she knew that, but it was still some form of an attempt to give her peace of mind. Finally having managed to calm herself, the girl began her trek home, twitching and twisting to stare every time something sounded out of place.
