Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Holly was still feeling pretty good from her last trek through this place, so she decided to come back sooner than usual. The castle itself was less interesting than she'd hoped since she could only explore the hallways right now, but maybe there was a secret passageway or something she could check out? It seemed stupid and a little cartoony, but given how much these creatures seem to be based on human thoughts and ideas it didn't seem that unreasonable to assume that such a thing would exist in what was likely shadow created territory.
Regardless, mapping out the rest of the area would be a good idea anyway.

The shadows here were definitely not what she was expecting. While it wasn't unreasonable for a knight to be in a castle, she didn't expect it to be a white knight. A black knight maybe, but not a white knight. The last shadow she fought was oddly angelic as well. How odd. Well, it didn't matter, it was going down regardless.
As always, Holly lead with Debilitate, and like last time, the shadow decided to charge her again only to miss and ram face first into a pole. Except, this time the knight got its lance stuck in the pole and it actually looked like the crash hurt it. Now that she thought about it, it was strange that ramming face first into a pole didn't hurt the last shadow. Well, it was dead now, so there was no point in worrying about it. As long as the knight's lance was stuck in the pole like that it probably wasn't going to attack her for awhile. She took this opportunity to sling several flurries of knives at it. With it being stuck, all of them hit and all of them hit hard. The shadow was still standing, but it was obviously hurt.
Actually being able to hurt things like this was so amazing.
Eventually, the knight gave up on trying to extract its lance from the pole and cast a powerful light spell at her. Holly was engulfed in a blinding white light, and she felt it burn her before she was able to move out of the area. Well, at least this one managed to hit her. She couldn't let it get too boring after all. However, it was too late for the shadow. One more flurry of knives was enough to make it disappear in a puff of smoke like all the shadows that faced her before.

Secret passages or not, fighting things was more satisfying than ever. Holly still felt pretty good, extremely good actually given how awesome it is not to have every fight against a shadow be a marathon, so she decided to poke around the place a bit longer. After all, it'd be a waste to head back now considering her condition. A couple of heals should put her back in peak physical condition and her mental state was fine. So, now seemed like a good a time as any to really dig for more passages or something. Looking around couldn't hurt at least.
