Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

"And what do we have behind door number one?" Jaelyn asked, peering inside the airplane hangar. The door, a small, unremarkable thing next to the massive closed garage-styled door, had been left open, giving Jaelyn easy entry. Inside, she could see several planes still intact and still functional. Some of them were even small enough that she might be able to figure out how to fly one without just running off the edge of the runway and driving it into the ruins of the city. Or blowing it up, that could happen too.
...Actually, this was a terrible idea and there was no way she would be able to pull it off anyway. But now that she was here, she might as well have a look around at least.

Jaelyn hadn't gotten too far inside before something descended from above, nearly colliding with her and causing her to stumble back a few feet. The 'thing' then seemed to expand, at which point Jaelyn noticed that it was in fact two things. A pair of headless bodies dressed in glider suits and attached to wires. "Flying dancers? Are you kidding me?" Jaelyn asked.
Well, whatever. They were flying dancers, and they were attacking her, and they were about to burn. Jaelyn quickly recovered from the sheer incredulity of the situation and summoned Andras. The owl-headed demon conjured a large ball of flames and hurled it at the dancers. Apart from lighting their fancy outfits on fire, though, it didn't do more than what Jaelyn would assume was normal damage. The dancers then started spinning around a central axis, whipping up a small windstorm in their wake. "Oh, fuck me," Jaelyn said, bracing herself against the incoming wind attack but still getting blown over by it. She scrambled back to her feet, this time directing a mass of darkness to surround and bombard the dancers from all sides. In contrast to the fire, the darkness seemed to be surprisingly effective, eating several holes in the dancers' suits and dropping them to the ground.
"Well, what do you know," Jaelyn said, bracing herself against another attack, which came in the form of a pair of thrusts from a rapier that the dancers pulled out of nowhere. "You're not going to burn after all. You're just going to get eaten." She wasted no time calling forth a second wave of darkness, eating another pair of stabs in the process, then a third, which the shadow tried and failed to repel with a light-based attack of its own. Finally, it collapsed. Its strings were cut, and the third Mamudo engulfed it as it dissolved.

Well, that was that dealt with. Jaelyn winced as she tried to start walking again, realizing that she was in a lot more pain than she had thought during the fight. She'd taken a pretty nasty hit from that wind attack, among other things. There was little doubt that she could continue. She'd taken a worse hit from the damned cleaver girl, after all. But continuing, then getting back once she couldn't? That was a different story. There was no telling what she might encounter on the way back.
"Guess I'll just see if I can grab anything of value and head back," Jaelyn thought out loud, laying eyes on a plane that looked like it had been partway through some kind of maintenance before being abandoned. "Ohh, now there's a nice start."
