Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

I descended into the caverns once more for another solo sortie as I realized that in order to get anywhere in this search, I needed to become stronger. Becoming stronger would allow me to go to more dangerous places with a lessened risk. So I could find the answers I was looking for. Making my way down the rocky terrain I realized that perhaps if I continued the search I might not only find answers, but I might find shinies. Now you're getting it. I didn't want to pick fights, of course, but I found myself realizing that even with my newfound power, my allies who also explored these areas were still much stronger than me. I didn't want to admit it, but I had to keep up with them somehow. I sighed and continued on my way. I secretly hoped that something challenging might come up. But then, it would serve to be a big risk for me.
Sigh. This time it became a pursuit of power, not information.

As I lumbered around the caverns I saw a pair of giants lumbering around as well. As they turned to see me, I held my knife in my hand and mentally prepared myself. Last time I saw a giant around they were alone, and to see the two kind of alarmed me. Furthermore, one of them was very difficult to see properly in the darkness of the cavern and the other one was already in a crouching fighting stance once they were alerted to my presence. Stepping back a bit I felt my right arm instinctively crackle with electricity. Shooting a bolt at the crouching giant, I noticed it stumbled backwards and roared as if it hurt a lot. Realizing this, I tried to repeat my attack again but I didn't see that the other gigas had rushed up to me and sliced me with its open hand. I winced and was sent back a little but I shivered as I stood up.
I tried to slash back at the giant close to me but I realized my knife bounced back off its skin and that's when I figured it was immune to it. Sighing as I noticed the giant was laughing at me, I took the opportunity to blast its groin with electricity again, as it laughed at my feeble attempt to attack it. Well, it didn't laugh anymore. Instead, it got enraged, and attempted to send dark chills from its fingertips. Well, the chills did go down my spine, but what followed next was an eerie, will-eating sensation that made me instinctively lurch backwards. Forcing myself to retaliate I charge up my arm again and shot an electricity strike at the other giant who was charging at me with its fists clenched.
The bolt of lightning collided with its fist and made it fall backwards from the shock and the fact it was seemingly weak to the lightning. Seeing its brother get hurt so badly, it thumped on its chest and attempted to slice into me again. Yet, I twirled around and grabbed onto its large arm, soon I charged up a bolt of electricity on my left arm and shocked it in the face, causing it to fall over to the wall, I let go of course so I wouldn't get taken with it. I was kneeling on the ground as I happened to be a little high up. As I was bent I took out my bow and shot a couple of arrows at the other gigas who attempted to charge at me again. Though, it was not deterred, and it continued to charge at me, and soon it punched me, I turned around and felt my left arm receive the brunt of the strike. Yet, though it hurt, my bones didn't break as I felt a little voice in my head. You should be careful. I am not a masochist like you.
Mentally cursing, I responded by launching another bolt of lightning at the gigas who just punched me out. That seemed to be enough to knock it down. For the meantime. It wasn't dead yet it seemed. I turned my attention to the other giant that seemed to have disappeared. Then I turned around and saw it released dark tendrils from its fingertips again. They surrounded me and pierced into me, making me cough out a little bit of blood and making me stumble. Growling, I responded by shooting arrows into its chest and face. Though, both giants were still alive, they were clearly getting weaker. Diving into the side, the crouching giant I had zapped slowly stood up and roared, whipping up a gust of wind that was sent slamming into me, I was knocked into the wall as a result. Panting, I zapped the wind-summoning giant again and that seemed to do the trick as the bolt collided into his forehead and almost made it explode. Instead he fell over and melted into the darkness.
The other shadow was much hardier it seemed, as I didn't have anything it was weak to on hand. Sighing, I raised my bow and started to shoot arrows at it. Every time it tried to slice into me, I'd have to do a dodge roll, though sometimes I'd find myself getting caught and getting thrown into the air like a rag doll, which hurt my back a lot. But at last, a well-placed arrow to the eye made it seal the deal as it flailed wildly and crashed into the wall, expiring. Groaning, I looked around and sat down in the middle of the caverns.
