Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Now, while the girl was fine with pressing herself further and further, even to her breaking point, for the sake of increasing her strength, she was not, in any way, adverse to dangerous locations that were actually clean. In fact, more than anything, she was exceedingly pleased with places that were not completely clogged with dust, dirt, and other strange slime and grime. Even if she needed to overcome her compulsive need for cleanliness, she could still "treat" herself to the relatively clean places for training. It was her right, after all- the right of the strong.
. . . and immediately after considering that, she remembered the filthy harlot that took what was rightfully hers. Her body shook. No, she wasn't strong. She still had leaps and bounds she needed to overcome first.

And then Sayu took a fireball to the face. Blinking, she stared forward. A single enemy, and it was an annoyingly stupid-looking one, at that. Well, there was one good way to take care of that. If it used fire, then it was very likely weak to ice. The mute lifted her paintball gun. Tamamo? Unnecessary, if her hunch was correct. A few thwack sounds echoed from the surface of the Shadow as the girl pulled the trigger. The cryo rounds caused some fairly vicious freezing on the surface of the monster. With a slight, silent laugh, the girl stepped closer to the Shadow, shooting at the points on which it contacted the ground. She immobilized it. Then, lifting her aim further, she proceeded to pelt the thing until it resembled snowman. An ugly, disgusting, and not-really-endearing snowman. She checked her ball canister. She was still good for rounds. She had realized, after the fact, that she got a little trigger happy.
Either way, she observed the ice sculpture before twisting and sending the bottom of her pump at the Shadow, subsequently shattering and ending it properly.

Sayu blinked as, from the frozen figure, a waffle emerged. The Shadow had eaten a waffle? Or was the Shadow secretly composed of waffles? Either way, she could not really wrap her head around food and Shadows coming together. More than that, she had absolutely zero intentions of eating something like that, regardless of whether or not it had originated from a Shadow- though, since- in this case- it had, she had a plethora of complaints aside from just the quality of the food. Slowly, the mute stepped around the piece of food. She didn't really want. . . whatever might have been on it on her shoes.
