Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Sayu pressed onward. The sterile length of the halls soothed her mind, but, at the same time, it ate at her composure. There was a difference between being clean and being empty. She was comfortable with the prior. The prior is what her home was. The latter was both unsettling and unpleasant. That was what this place was, she realized, after heading deeper inward. It was, perhaps, even worse than the filthy extents of the mines or the crater. It made her insides quiver, not with disgust but with unease, as she looked around. Then, sighing, the girl shook her head. No, she needed to face things like unease. She needed to take her discomfort, challenge it, destroy it, then push on. If she did anything less, she'd never match that person.

Another engagement occurred. The mute looked over her enemies. Then, shrugging, she brought forth Tamamo and demanded a Maragidyne. The surge of fire flowed over the field and burned one of the Shadows badly. It didn't snuff out the flames of life in it, not just yet, but it had obviously done a good job. The other Shadow blasted her with fire. Then, the badly burned one tried to cut her. Naturally, the fire did nothing. She stepped out of the way for the slash, though. She then willed for another Maragidyne, and the flames purged the field of the rocking horse. The hand was still kicking, somehow, so the girl figured that it might have been worth checking out on Die for Me!. An attempt to poison her failed. Then, the kitsune responded to her will, choking the Shadow to death with darkness.
