Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Another visit to the hospital, another clash, another set of loot. Looks like the same old stuff from what I can see here. Nothing particularly new and nothing particularly useful to me that stands out which I could potentially keep. That simply means more items to be appraised, which leads to more money. Money is something I could always get more of, right? Hum, hum. The stuff was in my pack once again as I made my way to the Strange Blonde Woman at the Gap containing the goods. It was becoming very difficult to make these trips eventful and more interesting to describe, to be honest, saying anything new was probably going to be impossible at this rate. Considering I was going to the same places almost all the time. Hopefully sometime soon I could find something great elsewhere or in a new place, but I doubt it.
Upon seeing the blonde once more I lazily deposited my stuff and junk and politely asked for appraisal.

This was starting to become a chore, but I felt that if I just went ahead and got this over with I would be a lot better off for it. I got a whole host of stuff from the castle and also from the chasm areas, mostly just trinkets and broken jewels and ores and the like, but I guess they could be valuable for something in the same way that jewel from the castle was valuable for the blonde woman, or not. I wasn't actually sure. Then again, that woman was quite the peculiar one and I was sure that I could probably get away with giving in anything and still get some money out of it. That was, after all, how the junk and scrap exchange actually worked. I did however at least want to make an effort into providing something valuable. It would feel like a robbery otherwise. Again, at the safe house, I took out the goods from the pack I brought and placed them down on the counter by the woman. I didn't say anything. She'd know the drill by now.

Goods from the castle again. Scrap parts from the knight armor that was left behind from some excursions and previous battles. Precious stones and ores. More of the stuff like last week's trip. Again, boring stuff, but I needed to do it to supplant my requirement for funds. More funds meant access to more useful things I could use. This had grown far beyond just a thirst for the answers. I wanted to fight become stronger than never before. Sighing, I put the goods in my pack and once again hightailed it to The Gap. Once I had arrived I quickly, briskly put the goods from my pack out on to the counter and appraisal for my cash. Silent and wordless, but to the point. I knew it was bothersome and sometimes I didn't want to do it, but I had to soldier on if I wanted to keep up with the competition...

Made my way once again to the same old establishment that I had both come to appreciate as a place to bolster my funds and come to resent as a place I would constantly come to with increasingly more valuable junk, this time coming from my travails in that one cavern, the place where I had rescued the woman's cat while helping the mute, Sayu. Dropping my pack on the counter again, I started extracting the contents of my bag. Mostly ores and jewels and shinies, the usual stuff one would find from the caverns. Not quite the same haul as you'd find from a mine, but it was serviceable and good enough. I was silent and wordless once more, just giving the woman a solemn nod and hailed her silently to make my request.

The battle against the giant door and the other strange Shadows was quite profitable. I had snagged a great find for myself. And the battle against the evil necromancer was great too, because it turns out I found a clean sheet of strange clothings from somewhere that I also kept for myself. So in the mean time I got myself a strange collection of ancient relics and tomes from that library past the door, and I went back to the Gap in hopes of pawning these off for something cool. Greeting the strange blonde woman again with a friendly nod and a tip of my brow I set my pack down and set to depositing the goods, which mostly consisted of these strange tomes and a bunch of rings and old necklaces and bracelets and all that junk.

I returned to the ever-familiar establishment, The Gap, with a pack full of mystifying tomes I found lying on the ground, along with some strange scrolls that could fetch some high value from an auction somewhere. No high pieces of fine art here and there, all literature all the way. On the way to the establishment I was listening to some music coming from my phone, just to shake things up a little. Was just some smooth jazz, nothing too special. I arrived there and saw the blonde woman there with her usual disposition. Nothing new there. I carefully placed the tomes and scrolls on the counter and motioned towards them. "I got some strange stuff, you might be interested in reading them or re-selling them off somewhere. No clue. But maybe it'll be your cup of tea."

I walked around with my lower torso covered in a black corset I bought from a clothing establishment in the area near the clothing stores where Ran took me to before, for no real good reason other than the fact that even though I had mostly been healed of my wounds from the battles in the past, the pain still lingered and I figured tightening those spots would relieve me of the lingering hurt. In my pack I carried some books and I did end up picking up the nodachi my shadow bought, deciding to pawn that off because I didn't want to keep it without leaving it behind. At The Gap, where the blonde woman was, I put down more tomes and books and also coupled it with the nodachi of my Shadow. Hopefully it would be worth something, maybe?
