Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

My pack was heavy with tomes and scrolls from the library again, but I managed to find a gold-plated bookmark that I found from one of the book shadows I had defeated in there, so I took that along as well. The trip to the Gap was rather uneventful and as usual there weren't many people at the establishment when I was going to go see the blonde woman. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever got her name, but at the same time I had a feeling she wouldn't share her name to me even if I asked, or she would supply me with some shady nickname. Sighing, I continued along my way and by the time I reached the counter I placed the goods from out of my pack and on the counter and gently pushed them towards the woman. Still, I wished I could find more about her.

After encountering those two drat taxidermic monstrosities I was founding myself a little disappointed that all I could find were scraps of fur and skins that came from the various books at the library. Well, on top of that, it seemed rather unfortunate that it was really all I could find aside from the same old junk... Sigh. Once again, my pack was full of junk again and I high-tailed it to the Gap once more to unload my stuff at the counter, waiting for the woman to appraise and pass over the money. As boring as it was, at least it was a steady source of extra stuffs. And I could never argue with extra fundings for my undertakings.

I didn't go anywhere this week. So I didn't gave anything from the Shadowlands to contribute, unfortunately. On the other hand, I had to do some smaller odd jobs from some family friends who happened to be around, so they gave me some of their old antique stuff. Mostly just vases and pots which I lugged around in some manner of large cardboard box. No pack on me today, since I didn't go anywhere. I made my way to the Gap once more, heading towards the blonde woman and this time I wondered if she'd have anything weird to say upon seeing me lug around this giant cardboard box. I hefted it up and placed it on the counter, and removed one article of content from inside the box, showing that it was mostly pottery and vases and stuff inside the cardboard box. Hopefully I could pawn this off and get something out of it. Right? Maybe.

My head was bandaged and I was forcing myself out of rest for this time, I had managed to shovel out some debris and other scraps from the halls, and I held them in a small bag with my right hand while I had my left arm in a cast, which was itself still hurting after the major scuffle I had against Pyxis' shadow. Despite many instances perhaps from online peers to stay and get rest (I had to post an announcement on my site mentioning I was resting from heavy injuries and may delay investigation results) I needed some dosh, so I had no choice but to pull this one through. I slowly walked myself to the Gap and saluted towards the strange blonde woman once I made my way there. I went to the counter and laid down the goods, they were mostly metals and gems and the like from the halls. My bandaged head and cast arm probably didn't project any good images, but I was trying to get some bang for my buck here.

I decided to do a bit of spring cleaning in my apartment since I had decided to move in with Pyxis. I was basically looking and rummaging through all the old and obsoleted hardware which I'd attempt to pawn out. On top of that I took a quick scavenge on the way to the Gap and scrounged up some additional hardware and electronics. En route I wondered if I would bump into anybody. I had been out of commission for a while and so I needed to get back into the groove of things again. I arrived at the counter again in order to pass my goods over to the blonde woman. Even to this day, I wondered who she really was. At the counter I laid down all the used hardware and junk and realized that my apartment had gotten a hell of a lot cleaner once I got rid of all this stuff.

I had collected a good deal of gunk in the form of precious rocks and materials from my forays into the pit, and I had a pretty good feeling I would make repeated trips there. I went again to the Gap once more and I was really wondering when it would be a good idea to try and strike up an actual conversation with the blonde woman, mostly to figure out what her deal was. Regardless, I made my way over to her at the counter, got my pack and deposited the goods and put down all the junk on the counter, waiting to pawn them off and get some dosh. It was a pretty repetitive affair and I had actually had to skip this a couple of times while I was getting rest, but still, spring cleaning helped a lot with that.
