Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Amane's standing up was short lived. The moon shadow started to launch spikes once more. Amane tried to move but the spike went clean through her leg. She couldn't contain her scream this time as she crashed on to the ground. She tried taking breathes but the damage seemed to be critical. She couldn't even move her leg. To make matters worse the shadow placed its blades away only to switch with the other shadow. Thankfully Amane has attacks that could harm it.
Amane slowly got up as the hole in her leg healed. She quickly summoned her persona card and crushed it. She hoped the other side was giving the moon shadow a beating on her behalf. But for now she has this shadow to deal with. Silky seeped out of her body and launched a blast of ice at the large shadow

The dance continued, though with different partners. The other turncoat was also on this side of the wall. The Sun burned brilliantly with the rage of a victim. Before anything could be done, however, the Shadow was pummeled with various attacks. Darkness, ice, wind, and the flailing of arms all impacted the Shadow. So the dancers were no fools, at the very least. However, neither was the Shadow. It remembered what showed nasty results when it was first used. It also remembered the empowering field that was nearing its expiration. The dance would continue. The dance would become even more fierce.
The Sun spread its arms out before sending out a wave of kinetic energy! The team is hit for Major Strike damage! Furthermore, Phoebe, Amane, Tristan, Alisa, Jaelyn, Nisha, and Gin will suffer critical damage on contact!
Preparing its blades, the Shadow began slashing at the Users! Jonathon, Akira, Isolde, and Maria are all targeted for Major Slash damage! Furthermore, Akira and Isolde will take critical damage on contact!
Finally, the Sun pulsated with violent light! Gin is targeted for Severe Light damage!
The dance would continue, even if the Shadows ran out of partners.
Now on the other side of the wall, the Moon was greeted by its new partners. these greetings naturally took the form of an onslaught of attacks as well as a nullification of one of its primary attributes. This group seemed to be more together than the last one. Perhaps they would prove themselves to be more interesting as well? It wouldn't be good to get ones hopes up before the dance had truly resumed of course. But that was just about to be fixed.
The Moon curled inward for a moment before sending a barrage of spikes at everyone in the group! The team is hit for Major Pierce damage! Furthermore, Holly, Pyxis, Rikki, Ally, and Sakuya will suffer critical damage on contact!
Taking its crescent blades out once more, the shadow let out a flurry of attacks on the party! Holly, Layla, Ringo, and Pyxis are all targeted for Major Slash damage! Furthermore, Pyxis will take critical damage on contact!
Finally, the Moon released a mass of dark energy! Ally is targeted for Severe Dark damage!
The dance would continue all through the night. It would continue even if the shadows' partners were to all suddenly drop.

Ringo watched as the moon shadow once more prepared to attack. However Crux, which Ringo is just now registering into his mind, said the oddest thing. Emergency shut down? Annnd Crux collapses. Ringo was more or less horrified that he was at the moment surrounded by narcoleptics. However he didn't have any time to act as it started to shoot more spikes.
"Hope this works!" Ringo's eyes glowed as he summoned Tokoyo and he ran off to block the spikes. To put it bluntly his plan didn't work...sort off. He is using his blade to redirect the spike to hit a non fatal area...and by that it means Ringo got hit in the stomach by the spike again. Tokoyo disappeared the moment that happened, Ringo winced in pain and looked over behind him at Ally and then at Crux. "Someone cover him!" He dropped his sword and sheathe and started to remove the spike in him.
However it didn't seem like the sun wanted to give him a break. It unleashed a flurry of slashes. This did not help Ringo's blood loss as he was sliced with the blade. Not deep enough to kill him...but deep enough to really hurt. Ringo collapsed not too far from where he stood wincing in pain and not exactly in the condition to be able to stand up and take hits for anyone anymore. He moved at the last minute to avoid getting killed. If he could get up he'd gladly thank the sleepy girl.

Well, it wasn't really something that Vice was expecting, having people actually listen to him for once. It was a different experience and it was something he enjoyed. Though saying anything more by now would just be repetitive. It wasn't like he was being teamed up with a bunch of newbies who started this yesterday. He'd been fighting with some of these people for a few months already and they knew what they had to do. So with a smile, Vice continued through the onslaught of attacks with a spark of trust for his teammates.
They weren't incompetent nor were they weak, and in his book those were really good things. Stepping up his game, the young man finally saw the shadow's own attack aiming for the entire party. His senses were heightened again, thanks to the buffs that were still working on him, and in that moment was he able to bend backwards enough while turning to spin to his right in order to dodge the incoming Pierce attack. No other attack had been sent his way which allowed him a small amount of time to double check on his condition. Nodding to himself as he called forth Arondight, the sound of glass shattering everywhere being its accompanying effect, the black haired biker then called forth for another slash attack.

The blonde girl's agility-enhancing ability was starting to pay off all over again. Pyxis saw and managed to evade both incoming attacks, avoiding what would almost certainly have been critical blows both times. And by the time the last of the moon shadow's slash attacks subsided, she was fully charged and ready to strike back all over again. And at that moment, that would have to be her focus. The best way to deal with the ones who were badly injured or downed would be to finish this fight as soon as possible.
She sank back into her usual battle mode. Originally, she had been jostled out of it by Elpis's awakening and the chaotic turn the fight had taken after that, but now that things were more under control it was easier to sink back into that state. To reclass extraneous thoughts and stimuli as 'low priority' and let them fade into the background. And with that, it was much easier to focus on bringing forth Elpis's power as the Persona produced a shining crescent blade and brought it down in a sweeping slash at the moon shadow.
The Sun shadow was being pelted by various attacks however, as always it retaliated. The sun released another burst of kenetic energy. Amane in particular was hit for critical damage as she was sent flying off her feet and she hit a nearby bench before crashing on to the ground. Good news, Amane was reunited with her staff. The bad news was that she thinks she broke a couple of bones. She honestly contributes her slightly increased durability to be the reason why she was unconscious.
"Really...getting educated on all kinds of pain tonight..." Amane started weakly reaching over to her staff.

The Shadow of the Sun continued its so-called dance, and at some point it decided to release a wave of deadly kinetic energy. Well, deadly, sure you could call it that, but all the wave really did was make me stumble backwards. The element of blunt-force trauma and striking in general was basically lost against my now hardy body, and now I decided that as my allies were getting beaten I could not offer any sort of support aside from suppressive fire. Well, in the figurative sense. All I could really do was get back into the fray, charge up another assault and go to town once again. Rushing forward again to engage with the Sun Shadow, I brought out my knife once more and beckoned for Hell Biker's rage and fury to empower me once more. I would not allow any casualties in my presence. Not after what happened to Chidori. Not after what happened to her when I wasn't there. Enough was enough. Orders be damned. I had to take this thing down no matter what.

Tch. This is getting annoying...
Tristan was already sick of this shadow. It did a powerful strike attack that hit him, and it hit him hard. However, it isn't like he was overly weak to that, and he knew that the healer would be able to help with any broken bones. It wasn't like he was going to die unless, of course, the healer of the group became mad at him for some reason and refused to heal him. With a glance over at her, Tristan assessed the healer. He felt she was a bit blunt or harsh, but he could tell her heart was in the right place. That meant that he could trust her to keep his heart in the right place, along with his other various vital body parts.
That in mind, he turned to the sun shadow. "Fade into darkness. Ifreet?" he called, summoning him.
As your will commands, human. The djinn then attacked with another dark spell.

Another wave of attacks came. While the boy did attempt to evade the mess, the blows still connected. He'd be fine, he concluded, but a quick survey of the field suggested that the time to use Heat Riser was still long and far off. Oh well. It wasn't like healing was going to hurt anybody. Except the zombies. What a shame this wasn't an old school RPG. Maybe Samarecarm would have outright killed the enemies, if it were. Or just hypercharge them and allow them to steamroll the opposition. Ah, good thing the boy wasn't a scientist. He was content with his lot in life- being the best crossdresser around and supporting the efforts in the fights like that. Alternatively, a good game of Dungeons & Dominatrices, or beating Shadows, were fun pastimes.
”Ah, well. Guess I'll be doing this until the end. Or the wall drops. Either way.” The boy complained mostly to himself before shrugging and willing for the power of healing to well. ”Alma, another Mediarahan.” And so the succubus unleashed a wave of healing energy on their side once more. So far, they seemed good on the front of knocked out fighters. He hoped that the other side was dealing just as well. Only way to find out was to put this Shadow down, though.

Sakuya growled as the Shadow was being pelted with attacks from herself and the Persona Users, though it didn't show any signs of relenting. The Shadow of the Moon curled inward and sent more spikes out at everyone, and Sakuya couldn't help but growl loudly as she took the brunt of the attack, it was again, her weakness, so she felt the pain drill deep into her. Using her embedded sword as a temporary crutch, she hissed again and shivered, deciding to spend this turn to calm her nerves down and recovering from the barrage of needles for a moment. She could have opted to heal herself instead, but eyeing the other users, she decided against it. For now, she would bide her time and wait for another attack to come out. Depending on the next move she would either heal herself at last or go for another powerful attack. Sakuya was confidently sure she was stronger than most of the Persona Users on her side except for the blue-haired girl who almost killed her, and even then, she only backed off because taking out Sakuya would probably mean overexerting herself and being taken down as well.

Another wave of force came from the new opponent. However, the damage was. . . non-existent. Nisha stood firm against the kinetic discharge, not even flinching. Shango's recently developments caused him to be capable of nullifying all Strike-related things. By that extent, she had effectively become a wall. She doubted anyone would try to hide behind her, though. So, while it was handy for her, nobody else would really get the chance to utilize the benefits. The giant quietly sighed. It was probably better that she focused on whatever she needed to do, anyway. Willing for another Akasha Arts, the go-to, end-all skill she'd relied on since the opening of the fight, the woman just watched as her own destructive wave surged to meet the Shadow.

Phoebe blurted a scream when she was hit and thrown against the wall. The powerful blunt blow was the last thing she needed. She'd suffer quite a bit in this part of the fight if it kept attacking with that move. She had the uncomfortable feeling that something had broken, but she still pushed herself up, using her warhammer as support. Then thankfully came the soothing healing and she was grateful for it. She'd fallen close to Amane and almost instinctively, she reached out and caught her arm to help her up.
"I know it hurts," she said gently. "But grit your teeth and we can do this. We're doing good," she added, though she was rather trying to convince herself rather than Amane. "Just hang on. I'll try to cover you and John."
Since they were getting pummeled like this, the best thing she could do was add another layer to their defense. Surely a triple Rakukaja would help soften the blows a bit.
She summoned Hypatia again, tapping the Persona card with her hammer. The arms-bearing philosopher appeared in a cascade of light and knew immediately what was expected of her. Another graceful swing of the shield-bearing arm and another dance of orange light around them. Now they were stronger and would better deal with the blows of this Shadow. She'd renew it if needed.

Here we go again, get clobbered then get fully healed by the girl. It was quite impressive how much power she was capable of exerting. John couldn't hope to muster even a fraction of that power without all but blasting everything he had. Regardless, he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. It would appear this sun shadow was quite a persistent adversary. It and its partner had already managed to soak up a ludicrous amount of attacks without even faltering. John wondered how much onger it would be until the enemies endurance would finally fail them. No use just thinking about it though. His attacks seemed quite ineffective. maybe it was time to soup everyone else up a bit instead of ineffectually throwing insignificant attacks at the enemy like a small bug to a behemoth. "Tarukaja" The empowering field would empower the heavier hitters some more. It was time to step back and admit he was simply not strong enough to do this alone.

Maria was hit by a strike attack. That hurt, she fell over, which was her luck as she dodged the slash attack that way. She was healed again by the same boy. Phoebe made resist attacks even better, those shields really were useful She also felt stronger because some random old guy used Tarukaja. The persona's really were varied and useful. Hers wasn't that useful but she still could do some things. With this Maria was ready to make another attack at the sun shadow. She shattered another Pixie card to summon the small creature and fire another gust of wind at the shadow.
