Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The girl simply lay there, enjoying her nap whether she liked it or not; if that made any sense. If she was conscious of her actions, the girl would likely be jumping into the fray of the battle lobbing grenades at the large shadow before the group. She was hotblooded in nature and wasn't afraid of taking some hits back in the process. Instead of jumping into the fray like some goddamn hero, she had become incapacitated by her brain disorder at such a crucial moment. Luckily there was still hope for her. Her rest may only last for only a short while. She could wake up at any moment. . .
Just at that moment, the girl's eyes began to stir. A small grunt came from her. Then, she began to squirm a bit, body slightly stretching. Could it be? Was she really waking up in time for the next round? Achoo! A small, cute noise came from the girl before she drifted back into a comfortable position; still very much asleep. Wonderful. Just wonderful.
And sure enough, other people started showing up soon after Pyxis started shooting. They hit the shadow with a wide variety of attacks, of which fire seemed to be the most effective. Pyxis did a quick scan of the other humans to see who all had used fire, then marked them as high priorities. While others among the group seemed to be capable of providing healing, Pyxis too could contribute something in an emergency situation. That would wait until it was actually needed, though. For now she had her own issues to worry about. Namely, several tentacles from the shadow's 'skirt' that had extended and bound her. And were currently squeezing and jostling her, and keeping her from getting a good angle to simply shoot them off. They were also quite possibly disgusting and unpleasant to the touch, but Pyxis wouldn't know that.
Fortunately, they were soon pried off by one of her allies. With no damage to her or her maid uniform, fortunately. "Your assistance is appreciated," she said. Meanwhile, words were exchanged by others present, from directions to simply offering up whatever they were able to do. It seemed that these people had worked together before. She recalled Alisa's story about the battle in the graveyard, and how at least eleven others had shown up. Now there were at least fifteen. Possibly more even than that. Best of all, it meant that someone else was able to take charge. As someone designed and expected to follow orders, giving them was something she wasn't sure she would be good at.
Which, in turn, meant she could focus on damaging the shadow. "Pandora," she said flatly, summoning her persona. The artificial girl materialized behind her, holding her cylindrical box out with both hands. The lid slid off, and an ethereal hand clenched into a fist emerged, wound up, and threw a punch straight at the shadow's head.

Huh. So fire seemed to do more to the monstrous schoolgirl than anything else that had been thrown at it so far. She had fire too, but hadn't used it. Just great. At least it hadn't just shrugged what she did do off like with the people that used ice. On top of that, she felt empowered yet again as...well, someone among the crowd, did something to strengthen her. And make her feel sturdier, too. "Let's try this out, then," she said, putting her evoker to her head and summoning Andras yet again. The owl-headed demon spread its wings wide, then whipped up a large fireball and launched it at the shadow.
"Ahahaha, this feels great," she said as the much stronger than usual fireball flew. "What do I have to do to get something like that all the time?" It wasn't directed at anyone, and in fact, still being at the back of the auditorium as she was she doubted anyone heard it. And...hold on, was that Luka up there? Did she have crazy awesome powers too?

The boy smirked again as his attack hit the large shadow. It looked like it wasn't very happy with his attack. Fire must have been its weakness as one blonde girl that was nearby called out. Of course, now the boss had decided to go on the offensive. It began to attack a number of other people with surprisingly powerful attacks. Not even he had seen any attacks that powerful before. Despite being a veteran user, the boy's experience with shadow's was rather limited.
He noticed that the shadow managed to grab two people out of the crowd as well, managing to immobilize them. One of them looked rather familiar, actually. But before he could get a good look, the boy returned his attention to the boss and fired off another Agilao. The two girls captured by the boss were freed almost immediately after, of course. Rikki also had the option of healing the group, but opted not to. It seemed that there were a few users that had much more capable healing abilities than he. It was a bit interesting to learn that there were such powerful users in the city. Conversely, it was quite interesting to see shadows as powerful as this one.

After a triumphant glare at the humans that had come to fight it, the shadow realized that it was still being pelted with attacks from all sides. Those that threw out attacks which proved ineffective were now using abilities with a bit more effectiveness. Not only that, but the shadow itself seemed to have gotten even weaker from one of the users' abilities. And again, some of the persona users insisted on using such hot attacks. How annoying.

A strange bell noise can be heard from somewhere in the building. Not a moment later, a few smaller humanoid shadows wearing male uniforms begin pouring into the auditorium!

With a twirl on one leg, the shadow slings the cleaver over its shoulder once more and prances around the auditorium a bit more as chaos ensues.

The attack had managed to connect and that much Vice could be thankful for. Wouldn't want to accidentally make a hole in the wall of the building and all that. Sure it would be impossible for it to be traced back to him but it'd still be something he'd have a hard time getting over with if only for the fact that he had fucking missed a 10 foot tall thick as hell shadow who wanted to scream 'Senpai Notice me!' to everyone.
With the Biker more or less ready to send of a Getsu-Ei at the cleaver shadow just to see how it would react to that kind of attack, something else had caught his attention. The ringing sound of the auditorium had apparently summoned a few more shadows and with his vantage point he had easily managed to spot out the targets. His first choice would have been to save Holly, a quick cast and they'd be done for without much of a fuss. The problem was that one of the other kids had been targeted as well and his less than impressive presence on the battle field was something that told Vice a few things.
For one, he doubted that the kid with a pumpkin for a Persona would survive those things. Changing his mind at the last second, rather miffed at being forced to save someone who has yet to prove his use over his standard for support, Vice summoned Arondight once more into play as a purple mass of energy appeared above the two delinquents that were converging on Tristan. The ball of energy dropped before a flash of purple. and the delinquents were gone.
"Anyone who isn't dealing damage to the main body, take care of the smaller shadows! Don't let them near the Support and Front!"

Holly continued watching the battle closely, making sure to note everyone's skills. She trusted them to do what was best for now, she had to since she had no idea what most of them were capable of, but it was still good to be aware of what resources the group had just in case of a crisis situation. Well, more of a crisis situation she supposed. Though, things were going too smoothly for this to be considered a crisis yet, at least to her.
The shadow attacked again, tangling two more people up in its tentacle skirt. One was sleeping somehow, so she wasn't a priority. The other person was Luka, who she was pretty sure could damage the shadow if she was remembering her skills from last battle properly. Regardless, she was empowering the group while Holly weakened the shadow, so saving her was a higher priority than worrying about what else the girl with the diadem could do. That said, if Ringo ever got back up, she would direct him to the sleeping girl. Perhaps he could even wake her up so she wouldn't be laying there uselessly.
She nodded at Isolde and pointed towards Luka, "You know what to do!"
Then a bell echoed throughout the auditorium, and several more shadows appeared. Two were just walking towards her, and two were walking towards someone she didn't recognize. He had fire, and this round she would finish weakening the shadow. Her usefulness would decrease a lot after that, and she found it unlikely that he could take anything they could dish. She focused back on the big shadow and took a deep breath.
"Take out the ones around him fi--"
Before she could even finish the order, Vice had taken out the ones around other user. Her lips curled into a small smirk. Seems they were still on the same wavelength. The shadow finally attacked itself, and it looked like it hurt, but Holly knew she had to finish weakening this shadow. She would wait for the healers to signal that they needed assistance before healing herself, at least for now. She raised her hand and summoned her persona in order to cast the last stack of Debilitate.

Another bell sounded from...well, somewhere. A school bell, no doubt, but there was no way it could be ringing on its own unless the shadow had done something. And sure enough, more shadows started pouring in, these ones wearing male uniforms. They didn't seem all that strong...or rather, they didn't seem like they could take a hit very well. But even so, Layla had a very[/b] bad feeling about them. One pair, targeting a boy Layla had seen throwing out weak but effective attacks, was quickly rescued from two of them, while the other two rounded on Holly. Now, Layla had little doubt that Holly could take care of herself, but with how she had been aiming to weaken the shadow and with how much the shadow had been doing thus far, distracting her from that to deal with a couple fragile punk-looking shadows seemed like a bad idea.
As soon as the boy who had rescued their other target called out for someone to take care of them, Layla moved forward. "I've got them," she said, mostly to make sure everyone knew they were being taken care of. The last thing anyone needed was for everyone to assume it was up to them and all try to take care of the shadows. She called on Yamantaka again, and the many-armed guardian king materialized behind her, arms spread wide. A mandala pattern traced itself on the ground beneath the two male-uniformed shadows, then exploded upward in a flare of light that encompassed both of them.
Sure enough, Layla's initial assessment was right. Both of the shadows had gone down with just one attack. Whatever they were going to do if ignored, Layla would hopefully never find out.

Chaos continued to ensue around Amane as she continued to move around in an attempt to avoid the chaos. Considering all that is going on, Amane might as well count herself lucky so far. However, more bad news about this gigantic shadow just keeps unearthing itself. It can summon allies much to Amane's chagrin. After some testing, it was proven that Silky can not hit multiple enemies at once. However, she still has the hama spell that she can hit this demonic school girl with.
"Hama!" Amane pointed to the gigantic shadow wandering about as Silky once more launched a huge burst of light at it. Thankfully the blasts weren't going to draw its attention to her...she hoped...

Ringo could slowly feel his body restoring itself. Likely someone using a Persona's healing abilities. Quickly grabbed his sword and got up. He stretched for a moment and looked at the fact that the other two were freed from the tentacles. That was a relief. That and Ringo can move his body properly again. One should say that he shouldn't push himself...clearly that one has never met Ringo.
Like the last giant shadow, this one began to spawn allies. Ringo was about to take them on but then noticed the shadow once more summoning tentacles to snare two more people. One girl with blueish hair and the other...who was napping? Ringo had many questions to ask but now was not exactly the time. He quickly started to ready his blade and started to cut at the tentacles, specifically at the one that was holding the sleeping girl.
"Excuse me, but now isn't exactly the time to sleep!" Ringo called out to her as he swung at the tentacles. He wasn't sure if she heard him though. Was she asleep this entire time?! Who can sleep throughout all this chaos anyhow?

Their attacks were obviously doing something; the mute watched the giant shadow recoil heavily thanks to all the buffs and debuffs in place - as a team of users, they certainly had a wide range of skills to use. They even had a couple of really strong users, plus that strange robot-like girl (who she would try to find out more about later). Evidently annoyed at them, the cleaver girl began her second round of counter-attacks, entangling two more people (one of whom was sleeping?!) as well as that energetic Luka girl.
In the distance, the bell ringing made smaller shadows appear, all dressed like schoolboys, surrounding two others. Chidori wanted to help, but it seemed there were plenty of other people ready to do that - she needed to focus on what she did best. In the process of commanding Juno to heal their group again, the brunette had no chance of dodging the giant cleaver sailing through the air towards her; chocolate brown eyes widened in terror at the prospect of the large edged weapon hitting her and boy, did it hurt. Knocked flat on her back by the blow, a long gash opened up across Juno's dress bodice, just as a similar gash slid across Chidori's own torso. Pain blossomed around the wound, making her see stars for a moment whilst her body went into shock from her panicked reaction. Shaking severely, she stayed on the ground, her mind trying to work its way through the pain and fear.
Get up, get up! We've done this before, we can do it again. You need to heal yourself and everyone else too, don't let it get you down! Her stronger self, the facade that Juno represented, bellowed inside the confines of her mind, urging her to move beyond the attack and focus on the battle at hand. The flashbacks reared their ugly heads, but only for a split second before Chidori reigned it all in, breathing deeply as she forced herself out of the panicked condition, the shaking coming to a stop as she got to her feet, steadying herself. Light flooded from her form, Juno re-appearing around her as she cast her healing magic across the group, filling them and herself with a warm flood of positive energy. The gash on her chest sealed itself up, leaving a freshly-made pink line as the main memory of the blow. It still stung like hell, but she was standing, and casting. It would take more than that to remove her from the fight now; previous experience was a beautiful thing sometimes.

Surveying the environment it looked like the attacks were still rolling in from our side of the fight. The attacks seemed to deal more damage especially with the constant weakening of the demonic hellion. However, it seemed visibly angered as it began to reach with its skirt of tentacles for two new targets as its original snares were wrought free of their shadowy binds. Soon enough, I noticed that Luka was grabbed, and someone who was... sleeping? That's just wrong. Actually, I don't know what was more inappropriate - falling asleep in the middle of such a chaotic fight, or using tentacles to grab and bind someone who was vulnerable because of their slumber. Sighing, I figured that the people who freed the others would do the same, as I did for the skeletal hands of the last massive encounter. Stacking more weakening curses on the shadow, I soon noticed that its caster was being harangued by shadowy school kids which were quickly dealt with by the Indian. On the other hand, Vice destroyed a similar dispatch of kids chasing what seemed to be another kid with a Jack-o-Lantern for a Persona. He seemed to be a greenhorn, just like I was. It seemed that they were summoned by the knell of a school bell, which seemed oddly appropriate given the location and the appearance of the shadow.
Yes indeed, at some point my thoughts were confirmed as a civilian (Heh, to think you were just like that young boy, Miss Alisa.) went to help the slumbering girl... who was... uh, trapped by tentacles. Wait a second, wasn't that civilian almost knocked out cold earlier? So he didn't actually help earlier... But at least he was alright now. We didn't need anybody dying right now. Or ever, really. Eyeing the battle more, I noticed the Shadow made another move once more, raising its cleaver and literally slicing at Chidori, and as I saw her tank the hit, I winced as well, and an insatiable anger and rage welled inside me.
My right arm glowed a dark crimson as Shax, the birdman with wings for arms, visibly materialized above me. You are angered, aren't you, ma'am? You're close to her? Very well... Let me guide you in administering revenge. I couldn't control myself. Shax's voice bellowed in my head, telling me to raise my knife Izayoi at the creature. Soon, I leaped into action, aiming directly at the Shadow. Shax's wings and my slicing motion seemed to be as one as we cleaved right into the Shadow, and I had secretly hoped I didn't make a foolish mistake with my decision.
As soon as the others were just pelting away with attacks, two more tentacles had accosted Luka and that blond girl in a winter coat. Looks like she's on rescuing duty again as one of the tentacles had grabbed one of her friends. She approached Luka and tried to pry off the tentacles that were accosting her in a suggestive fashion. At least, she could be commended for her help in freeing the ones that were grabbed by tentacles and unable to move because of it. Besides, her friend had a stat-boosting move that could help buff up the others.

The fire spells had weakened the Shadow and it was all thanks to that tall blonde girl's Debilitate. The tentacles had targeted the blue haired girl with swirly eyes and a blonde girl with a winter coat. He'll probably save the blonde girl at the cost of his turn, but someone had gotten to her first. The Pale Rider had waited for his order for an attack, so he spoke, "Magarula!" The skeleton rider summoned another two medium-sized tornadoes that damaged the Shadow with the added buff of Tarukaja from that blue haired girl. He hoped that the battle would end sooner or later. At least, he was being helpful to the entire raiding team while they were just attacking the Shadow or healing their allies's wounds.

That little ungrateful wench just shot a small blast of ice at him. Kurokawa Rukako was a giant butthead. She repaid great honor and glory with violence. Then again, this seemed to be her answer to everything as of late. She was probably more dangerous than the Shadow. Actually, the more he thought about it, that was probably true. She lacked common sense still, so she still could have performed conceptually dangerous actions. Shaking his head, he prepared to finish his buffs, only to watch as the girl was attacked by tentacles. Again. This was just like their other mission together.
”Serves you right for giving me frostbite, Ruka~ Tentacles have a thing for you, it seems!” The boy in drag cackled before turning his attention back to the battle as a whole. ”'bout to wrap this up. I can go on other support or offense after this! Now, Alma Elma, Rakukaja!” The succubus put another protective wave over the crew. That maxed their defense, so now it really depended on the course of the battle. All in all, though, seemed that things were under control.
