Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

What followed her entrance to the fight could be summed up in one word- Chaos. Their numbers multiplied until nearly two dozen stood against the singular enemy. Among their ranks, there was even a Shadow. A Shadow was fighting alongside humans against other Shadows. Truly, this place was both odd and outlandish, but that didn't matter. Two Sentient Shadows had appeared, and neither were the two she was looking for. What these Users did with the others was beyond the scope of her consideration. Blinking as the cutting wave dispersed against her, the woman began to step forward, taking a spot on the front lines. Then, willing for Yaksa's blade, Shirako sent the Persona forward. It was time to attack.
With a fierce blast of energy, the Persona twirled and sent out a slashing impulse at the god.

Good news, nobody had decided to attack her yet. Maybe they didn't notice her, or maybe they really didn't care. Whatever the case, Jaelyn was not an enemy. Yet. So, for the moment, she could hopefully fight this evil god thing without worry. The bad news, she had just charged up for a magic-based attack only to watch attacks of darkness and fire do absolutely nothing to the shadow. ...Well, fire did nothing. The damned thing just flat out absorbed darkness. "Aw hell," she said, preparing to just stab the damned thing. But, as she got ready to do that, she remembered that she'd learned something interesting after one of her most recent battles.
"Fire break," Jaelyn called out, grinning. Her Persona raised his gladius, fixing the massive shadow with a ray of red, slightly static-y light that would negate its immunity to fire. "Anyone with fire, feel free to go nuts," she said as the break took effect. "Burn this thing to ashes."

If there was one thing Aleister is getting from working with these people this time is the large variety of Personas and powers he is now seeing up close. The only down side is that he doubt they'd accept being strapped to a lab table for study but alas. Aleister sighed sadly. Despite the sigh, he was very much smiling though it might be a way to cope with the fact that his bullet didn't do much against it. Not to mention darkness seems to be something the creature thrives off of and fire does absolutely nothing.
"Looks like I'm shit out of luck..." Aleister placed the gun away as the old man on the crocodile started to appear behind him. Aleister started to walk back. "Welp, I leave the heavy work to you guys, I'll just take it easy." Aleister snapped his fingers and his persona disappeared and reappeared not far form the shadow. The crocodile opened it's mouth and then attempted to bite down on it so that it can drain the life of the shadow.

What stirred around the mute was the chaotic symphony of life. Numerous people came together to fight their enemies. And a Shadow was fighting on their side. What. . . manner of bullshit was that? Well, regardless, the mute could ignore the fact for the time being and address it later. Instead, it was time to focus on the god. She had charged, but both Darkness and Fire seemed to be entirely ineffective. On top of that, a slashing wave shot towards her. Clicking her tongue, the mute clumsily dodged to the side, her posture being righted by the kitsune's fluffy tails, before she caught wind of the enemy's resistances being broken. Leaving the gigantic titan to the flying User, and putting plenty of distance between herself and that skirmish, Sayu directed her full attention at the god. If there were people around that she knew, she wasn't bothering to pay attention. She wasn't there to talk, only to purge.
"Now, Tamamo. Burn it away in the flames of judgment." Heavy, haughty words came from that phone, mouthed by her lips. Would such a claim be justified? Well, that was something that the witnesses would have to determine. Following her "words", Sayu only grinned as the kitsune's tails shifted about, her arms rising as though beseeching a blessing from the sky. Then, flames appeared in the sky, condensing into a glorious orb of fire. The size and heat of the ball was only amplified by the previous Mind Charge. Slowly, the orb rotated in place. Then, drifting down with great speed, the star exploded with a violent burst of fire and heat on the "god". When the girl had seen the attack used by Shadows, she aspired to that flame of purification. Now, she had far exceeded whatever that Shadow could have ever hoped to achieve.
If only it worked on that snakewoman.

Just as Luka had considered, dark attacks didn't seem to work on the Large Shrine God. She would just need to break through that with a quick spell and begin to take it down. After a few attacks were sent at the shadow, it turned around and began to fire at the group as well. Luckily, Luka managed to dodge rather easily. From the position she was in, she began to look over everyone who was present. It was the usual group along with a few new additions. From off to the side, she saw Jaelyn whom she had a rough exchange of words with just recently. She expected her to show up, of course. Did she care though? Not really. For this fight, she was an ally and certainly no threat at current time. Luka also took note that Sakuya was not present. Luka had a feeling it may have been because of the things that she said during that conversation.
Then, Luka heard something rather loud come out from off to her side. What she saw was a rather large armored figure charge in, screaming something about interrupting his nap. Looking the shadow over a little bit, Luka was beginning to realize just who this was. Oh hell fucking no. She spoke in a calm, mocking manner after hearing the large shadow and Akira speak. She knew all too well where this was going. Watching Akira take to the skies and the shadow follow after, Luka could only twitch slightly. H-Have fun. She shook her head in disbelief before returning her attention to the Shrine Shadow. She willed for Hel to break the shadow's resistance to dark attacks, leaving it vulnerable for her attacks. That should do it for now.

Ally was glad that her attack seemed to work. And just as it did, she watched as the shadow launched an attack right back at her. The girl instinctively began to dodge. However, her gut feeling told her to hold her ground. As the slices came at her, nothing actually hurt her. The attacks simply stopped as they touched her. This was the power of her new persona among other things. With a smile, the girl pulled out another bomb and lobbed it at the shadow for some more damage.
Off to the side, she noticed some giant shadow come in and pick a fight with one of the healers. She blinked at the scene before returning her attention to the shrine shadow. The thing that barged in wasn't the shadow that she was looking for, hence she wouldn't worry about it. That healer girl seemed capable enough to handle it on her own.

Rikki had a big grin on his face as he saw just how effective his attack was on the boss. He seemed to have a considerable amount of luck with all of his attacks when these big bosses showed up. He was actually quite glad with the attack choice he made, seeing as the boss seemed to completely nullify fire. But just as his happiness came, a counterattack came flying right back. Despite the boy's efforts to take evasive action, he was hit by the attack along on of his legs and on one of his shoulders. He was fine for the most part, but others seemed to be hit as well. Thankfully, none of the attacks that they took seemed to be too hard on them. He could probably hold off on healing everyone for now. Instead, the boy went for a repeat of his last attack and decided to sit back and watch the magic happen.

Welp, that thing nulled fire. Just great. Phoebe winced. She'd have to find another tactic - but then she heard Jaelyn use a break spell for fire. That was good news. On the other hand, piercing attacks didn't really work so well and she cringed; she'd have to stick to fire and thunder, then. Oh well.
She saw the giant look down on them and then... gather energy, which it then unleashed in a blade-like manner upon them. Phoebe braced herself, ready to take the hit and, if her judgement was correct, null it.
...and then Ringo jumped in front of her to take it.
"R-R-Ringo!!" she blurted and almost slapped her head. "Hypatia get in there!"
Fortunately for the gallant-if-thoughtless young man, Hypatia rushed in before the hit connected and raised her shield over them. She took the hit without a sweat...and bounced it right back at the giant. With that taken care of, Phoebe grabbed Ringo by the arm and doffed him a soft smack up the back of the head with her hand.
"You dummy, that was a slash attack! I null them! I appreciate you playing knight in shining armor but that's my job! I'm the tank!" she said, half-laughing. "Come on, let's get this big lunk."
She noticed suddenly that the area of effect under the thing's feet had spread. That raised alarm bells in her head. After last time, she honestly was expecting the worst. She glanced around. Nobody else seemed to have noticed - the girl with the succubus Persona was busy fighting... was that a giant turtle? An angry one at that. Definitely a Shadow. She shouted that she'd take care of that one and Phoebe cringed a bit. Hopefully, she could.
"Hypatia, some lightning please," Phoebe called to her Persona. "Guys, don't drop your guard, this thing's done something to the ground!"
Hypatia obliged, drumming her shield with her spear and pointing it upwards, summing a bolt of lightning to crash onto the giant.

Well, the shotgun blast seemed to have done little more than mildly annoy the monster. Of course, It didn't stand idly by and take all this punishment. The cutting gust of wind had taken John by surprise, hitting him before he could react. The slash caused quite a stinging pain, though it didn't feel like any vital organs had been hit. Still, this pain was not something caused by a normal wound. He knew the feeling quite well. It was the feeling of an infected wound. John knew enough about field medicine to know that had the attack not caused a mereflesh wound, he would probably be writhing about in pain from oison coursing through his body. "Guys, it's attacks are poisonous, give a holler if your wounds hurt more than they normally would."
With the warning voiced, he redoubled his assault. He had noticed someone nullifying the creature's darkness-absorption abilities and decided to take this oppurtunity. He summoned forth Ippon-Datara and commanded the masked humanoid to bring forth the caustic darkness of mamudoon. As he performed his attack however, he could see an user being attacked by some random madman. She seemed to stand her ground though John still diverted a portion of the darkness towards her adversary. The diverted power would have harmlessly dissapated anyway as the attack was designed to hit multiple targets

Brynhild nearly fell over from the pain of the shadows counterattack. One blow hadn't hurt this bad in years. Not since the first serious fight back when she was weak. She could still move so, the fight wasn't over for her yet. If things continued like this she'd be knocked out partway through, but running was never an option.
The gunshots didn't seem to cause that much damage to him. This would have been a great opportunity to point out how stupid guns were, except her lance was similarly useless right now. It's a good thing she didn't try to stab the guy earlier. That cut might have hurt worse after a failed attack.
A new challenger appeared and essentially started a duel with one of the other Persona Users. Brynhild couldn't complain about the girl doing what she would have done herself. Now that she looked around the battlefield, there was that weird tiger helping out. Didn't that animal say something earlier? This cat and the other newcomer had to be Shadows, although none of the three here seemed to be fighting for the same side. Not that it mattered—either way they would die tonight—but since when did shadows learn how to talk?
Once more Brynhild would have to use the Berserker to attack. Whatever minute amount of damage the warrior spirit had caused was better than nothing. Together they would scratch the blasted monster to death. The Persona drew his weapon and slashed at the false god.
They had to get rid of the first problem before worrying about the two other enemies.

Razor-sharp gusts washed over the shrine grounds, to very little effect. Many of the others present managed to dodge or otherwise avoid the attack, while some, like Pyxis, were in no danger whether they moved or not. So Pyxis didn't move. Of somewhat greater concern was another shadow that had showed up. One who recognized the girl Pyxis was pretty sure was called Ran. One who was...also very angry, and singled her out to take out his anger on. That...was troubling. But Ran insisted on keeping him busy herself, and Pyxis had seen her capabilities, so she didn't worry too much about it. If anything went wrong, she could pitch in then.
Also concerning was the corruption spreading along the ground to suddenly cover the entire field. A woman Pyxis vaguely remembered pointed it out, which was...questionably helpful. She would have to keep watch on that too, but she was planning to do that whether anyone mentioned it or not. Meanwhile, her attack had connected, flawlessly, but it had burnt out her charge. Best thing to do was to start charging up again, and get ready for another meteor shower. Elpis's hair and dress, which had dimmed into a faint glow after the first attack, began to gradually return to their former brightness as Pyxis began charging up.

"Beautiful," Layla said, observing the reach and power of her weapon. She could tell that it was easily stronger than any magical abilities she possessed. Were it this shadow's weakness, or were the shadow's weakness something she didn't have, she could have kept using it for the entire night. Swinging a weapon around took much longer to tire her out than using her Persona's abilities.
But, the blue-haired boy had demonstrated that light was effective.
Light, she had. Light, she had an impressively strong skill for, which she had demonstrated in the fight with that Reaper shadow. This would be interesting, especially against a corrupted god or rakshasa or whatever this shadow was supposed to be. Layla stepped back, then that step quickly turned into evasive action as the shadow attacked with its own slicing gusts. Then, she called forth Vajrabhairava from the recesses of her mind. The Terminator of Death spread its many arms wide, and a familiar pattern appeared on the cursed ground: the Wheel of Life. Panels of light emerged from the wheel, forming a cage around the shadow's lower body, then exploded in a brilliant flare to burn the shadow with the power of life and death.

Elemental spells, for the most part, seemed to work fine on it with the exception of darkness, which the Shadow absorbed (this was starting to become a recurring trend with these creatures) and fire, which was basically useless. Predictably, it was weak to light, though. Physical attacks were fine, though it seemed to resist piercing attacks so I would have to stick with my slashing attack or my other spells if necessary. It began to attack by releasing some sort of slashing attack as well hitting everybody. I noticed that if it would hit, it would release some definite corrupting substance, poisoning most likely? I didn't particularly care especially if it did not hit. Which, it didn't, I was able to maneuver past the Shadow's attack and remain in top condition.
However, I could not really relax much with the slow start of the battle as soon some guy showed up. Actually he seemed pretty mad about something. Come to think of it, he looked like an armored turtle. Was this one of the Shadows I needed to investigate? I think he needed some anger management. He yelled out some obscenities towards Ran and lunged towards her with a hammer. He proceeded to try and attack her with it. Ran said she would be fine, so the rest of us should concentrate on the big guy. Okay, I am okay with this. I don't really want to mess with Mr. Anger Management Turtle over there, anyway.
On the other hand, though, a familiar face appeared - it was, none other than Tiger Kid. Predictably, he was helping us out again. Just what was his motive? Ugh, I can't think about that at the moment. I still must investigate him personally. I have an agenda. Meanwhile...
A girl appeared to use some spell that broke the protection of flame on the big Shadow too, encouraging those with fire spells to try and attack it. Luka did the same thing, except dispelling its Dark absorption capabilities. I was more concerned with the strange cursed ground, though. Just what was it? The Shadow was turning its attention away from the shrine and more on us. I guess it wanted to take us down. Fine. Two can play at that game. Once again, I attacked with my technique of Vorpal Blade.

Strike attacks are neutral, as are slash; however, pierce is resisted. Mudo would do neutral damage now, and I always have life drain to fall back to if necessary.
That was what was running through Xain's mind after he dodged the large shadow's attacks. He took notice of other Users breaking the resistances of the shadow, which only widened the variety of attacks that could be dealt. He also noticed that there was a large, speaking tiger who was assisting the Users for some reason. While the robot was curious, he would hold off on asking questions. After all, the shadow added a boost to the overall poer of the group.
Still, the android was at a disadvantage. Even with the item that he had received from the blond woman, the robot doubted his main form of attack would be much help. That said, he decided on simply using Dream Fist again, while hoping that the enemy would be susceptible to sleep.
Crux's head felt like it was about to explode, the rising of the full moon causing dramatically increased Shadow activity. The hammering continued until he offered his full compliance to deal with the threat. There was always a conflict whenever the pulsing alarm inside of him sounded off silently. The alarm itself could possibly be a result of the conflict between fighting and fleeing, not the other way around. There, towards the direction of Receiving Mountain was the source of the highest amount of Shadow presence.
His running steps pressed lightly on the slanted road toward Keystone Shrine. From what he can see, a fight had already broken out. Energy pulsed throughout the mountain, getting stronger as time went on. Another signal came up. There were two 'alpha-grade' Shadows present. On top of that, it became harder and harder to see through the purple fog that rolled down and up the mountain. It felt toxic, like something a human shouldn't be standing in. Even if it was just the color that was the centerpoint of his inference, the Shadow creating it should be stopped... as dictated by his objective.
Stepping into the purple-covered field, he had made it just in time to see his allies fire out spells and attacks in what looked like a counter-offensive. Some looked like they were hit with something strong, like a gust or similar phenomenon. That was okay; so long as he wasn't hit, everything would be alright.
Crux stepped up closer to the battlefield, overextending his hand out to his chosen target: the Shrine God. From the darkness in front of the android, Tsukuyomi emerged with sword in hand. The Persona raised the black katana up towards the moon, its length increasing the more it was exposed to the red light."'The moon looks upon many night flowers; the night flowers see but one moon,'" Crux solemnly recited. He swiped his hand to the side, while the moon god flew forth and slashed at the goddess with its enhanced sword.
