Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Gin grinned as he realized that he had multiple attack targets and multiple attack options. He stopped smiling when he saw the girl that he had fought against started to fight against another shadow in the middle of the fight. The shadow she was dealing with seemed to need a heavy dose of happy pills, but was strong. The tiger knew he wasn't near as strong, but he was determined to help. After all, his spells targeted all of his enemies.
The tiger released another attack of pure energy, hoping to optimize the amount of damage dealt against all enemies. If Megidolaon didn't work, he would just have to try darkness next. After all, it seemed the large shadow's absorption of darkness was no longer in play.

This is great. My attack was the weakness, but that appears to be the only one. Fire is out, dark is out, slash does neutral, and- what is he doing?
Tristan looked up to see the shadow send a slash attack through the air. Without flinching, the boy stood his ground. However, he became slightly unnerved when the "god" reached for him. He quickly jumped out of the way just to see a mass of pure darkness envelop the area where he had been standing.
Suddenly, the young User realized that he was screwed. He had been targeted for the powerful attack. He had been the first one to attack the shadow's weakness. Even if there was no correlation, it was scary to be singled out like that. Still, the boy needed to fight.
He decided on using his Slash attack for now. He summoned Ifreet, who cut through the air in a nebulous pattern. Tristan only hoped that something would succumb to exhaustion.

As always, Holly made a mental note of which attacks worked and which attacks didn't. Looks like several other people were as well. Two of them cancelled out two of the shadows resistances, so as far as she could tell it only resisted pierce now. Unfortunately, that meant that she'd be pretty useless at attacking, but what else was new? With a quick hop, she was able to avoid the shadow's attack, so she was able to worry about the upcoming round. She turned to Ran, who was beating on another shadow that had shown up. She preferred not to think about that part. As far as she knew, Ran was the only user with healing abilities as strong as her own, so there wasn't much need to address everyone else.
"Pierce attacks don't work well, so I guess that puts me on heal duty again. Go wild." With that, she turned back to the big shadow and addressed the group. "I'm going to weaken them again, so hold out just a little longer! If they're attacks are just too much to handle say something and I'll heal next round instead of finishing off my hexes!"

It felt weird, feeling his over all abilities break through the current limits that his system had told him. Still, for the most part it didn't bother him and he just decided to chalk it up to the users making it easier for him. Either way, the incoming attack at him was dodged easily. A wide berth being left as the after effects gouged the earth behind him. Yeah, that wouldn't end well for him. If at all possible, he'd have to try his best to get away from all those attacks rather than take the brunt of it.
Besides that though, he was given another chance to keep on attacking with the others. Summoning Orpheus once more, the android had him use the same attack as last time.

Well, from what was happening and what he could see from his vantage point, Vice pretty much decided that it was time to go do some damage. Charging up for an attack would have been fine and all, but that would just have him lose his element of surprise. Then again, he could still try and maintain his position here and see how the battle would flow out…but that would destroy the purpose of him being here. Shrugging his shoulders, feeling the shadow-adrenaline his body start running, the once-human began conjuring his power and removing the limiters of his human form. Almost gut wrenchingly fast did three mismatched pairs of demon wings appear from his back, as his hair began to grow out.
A whirlwind of energy being expelled around him as soon as the wings flapped once. A moment passed and out stood a massive silvery glazed form. Floating in place effortlessly, two sizeable horns jutting from his head as dark red eyes glinted from the shadows cast by his hair. With purpose did he zip through the trees and into the fray, appearing almost ghastly-like to the general right of the users present. In his hands already formed, the power of this form's namesake already radiating in his hands.
No words were said, just an iconic sardonic smile flitting through his face. Throwing the energy into the middle of the group, Vice commanded it to spread out through the entire field.

((Holly's right, my bad)) Kyle was glad that swipe had missed him. It was a very close shave and he really didn't like how that felt! He swore eloquently and backpedaled a bit, with Sitri at his side, to a slightly less precarious position. Just when he was about to launch a counter-attack, for what little good it did. Kyle'd been watching the thing as attacks rained on it. Dark was absorbed (that struck Sitri's Mudoon out); strike and slash were okay, pierce not so much and elemental attacks besides fire were also good. Okay, he was still in the zone.
He winced, watching Tristan get... poked and smothered in darkness. Aw man, he felt sorry for the little bastard, but they were in the middle of a fight here and someone was bound to get a bit hurt. That girl dealing with the Shadow over there seemed to be okay for now - seriously, how many Shadows were they gonna fight today?
And then he saw it.
"Shit on toast..." Kyle grunted.
Yet another Shadow cropped up and this one sent a massive chill down Kyle's spine. He stood there, dumbstruck as the damn thing threw a ball of energy that swept through everything. It felt like every molecule of air exploded, all at once. Kyle could see the waves of energy spreading out like sunbeams and his eyes peeled wide at how they seemed to vaporize everything in their path.
MOVE! Sitri roared and Kyle threw himself aside.
A blast of energy swept by him and he felt the pressure it carried and knew he'd dodged a very close call there. He quietly thanked his stars... and Vice's jacket. He had a weird feeling like it was lucky.
Holy shit, man... thanks Vice. Dunno where you are, but thanks.
"FUCKING HELL!" Kyle blurted, snapping up. "We're in deep shit now, we've got at least three of these goddamn things. Where the fuck do they keep coming from!?"
He wished he had an area effect attack to fall back to, but all he had were single target. Which one should he strike at first?
"GUYS! What's our priority!? C'mon, the big guy or the two shitheads?!"
Deciding that just standing there doing nothing got him nowhere, Kyle went for the corrupt god. He willed Sitri to attack and the leopard snarled, swiping his paw at the Shadow and sending a blast of blade like energy towards it, accompanied by the noise of a falling blade.

She dodged the incoming slash attack which attempted to hit everyone. Luckily for the shadow he wasn't knocked down from missing a melee attack. Imagine that you would lose you're balance and fall down during such an important battle. She guessed if that were to happen everyone would just drop the tactics and charge head on to it. Like that would actually happen. She saw more people entering the crowd. Even some shadows that were causing havoc. But one of them... created a large attack that tried to hit everyone. She could still dodge it with a sidestep though. She really wondered how that worked but stranger things had happened. But it was getting much for Maria. So many strong enemies. Just blow'em all away! "elf" She said as another large gust of wind was fired at both the large shadow and the shadow that just attacked in a large group. "What the hell do you think you're doing!" She shouted at the morning star user she just attacked with the large shadow.

Post by Tatsuma Kirihara on Apr 17, 2014 14:05:29 GMT -5
The full moon seemed to be weirder this month than it was before. This wasn’t the first time Tatsuma was out around midnight, but he had yet to see such an intriguing bloody moon. Behemoth inside of him was getting more and more restless, and it had driven him too out into the night. He was near the stairs that led to the shrine he made sure to avoid at all cost before, when he heard the first sounds of a fight. It was different than what he was used to back home, the gang fights had less explosions and... what was that huge flash?
He ran up the stairs as fast as his legs could carry him, while Behemoth was desperately clawing at the walls of his mind to get out. The first thing he saw was the giant shadow, the corrupted god. And then what he saw was Chaos. People and personas everywhere, explosions, wind, lightning and slashes of weapons on the shrine grounds where the giant shadow withered the ground away.
If he could chose, he would just attack the shrine instead, but the shadow seemed to be more of a threat. Even though, the shrine reminded him of his past and it just made him all that much angrier. The shadow, however, was much bigger than what he saw so far, and it made him uneasy and excited at the same time. This was different, and he knew it will be fun.
Let’s do this, Behemoth! This time we can fight alongside others.
It was a new experience, and he had to realize there were so many people in the city like him, others with power, but he couldn’t stop to wonder about it. Behemoth appeared beside him, and with a howl, Tatsuma could feel his other self attempting to slash at the corrupted god.

Alvis continued to charge at the girl who decided to jump up in the air and begin to fly away again. Well, this seemed awfully familiar. Only, she soon came right back down, landing a slash attack on his neck where a large gash formed. This gash began to spray out tons of blood similar to the last fight that they had. To make matters worse, it seemed that everyone else seemed to begin targeting him as well. Well ain't this just wonderful?
The man's grunting seemed to be trying to form words. yet, through it all he seemed to be failing. Instead, all that came out was incomprehensible roars and grunts like some sort of rabid animal. He wasn't about to let this bird bitch get away with whatever she was doing this time. And he sure as hell wasn't gonna let this group of goons hit him either. Don't FUCK with me kid! None of you! With a surge of energy that could simply be called pure wrath, the man let lose an angry blast that was directed at everything. Yes, everything. Including the other shadows.

'What the fuck did I walk into...'
All he'd wanted to do was visit the shrine before returning home. That's all. It wasn't too large a request, right?
Well, it apparently was. As the brunette approached the iconic shrine, a heavy, suffocating aura settled around him, freezing him in his tracks. An ungodly Shadow rose from within the shrine, emitting a ghastly fog from its being. This was nothing like the small fries Kaitou had skirmished with in the Outer Ring... No, it was on another level altogether. It'd be best just to flee, once Kaitou could muster the strength to lift his legs and run.
However, while trying to turn away, a sudden burst of energy came flowing through the man's veins. Waves of light pulsed from the immediate shrine area that definitely did not come from the Shadow. Squinting, Kaitou peered over to see that a dozen other people had already rushed over towards the Shadow, with more arriving on the scene by the second. His attention was immediately drawn to the variety of creatures that began to manifest behind the humans-- "Personas..."
A moment ago, Kaitou felt overwhelmed by the Shadow's presence. Now, it almost felt as if the tables had turned, what with so many Users congregating to fight the creature. Still, the heir did not move from his spot away from the fight. From what he could see, everyone combating the Shadow had a Persona of their own to protect them. If he were to join the fight, he'd probably only be getting in the way and putting himself in danger... So he began to turn away once more, only to fall over from the sheer force of a blast of energy striking the field. While eating dirt, Kaitou came to a decision.
'Okay, fuck it. I'm not that much of a coward. If those guys can put their lives on the line to fight that Shadow, I can at least try to hack off one of its legs...!!'
With that resolution, the man pulled himself to his feet, unwrapping his katana from the sword bag slung over his shoulder and jamming it in place under his belt. After taking in a deep breath to steel his nerves, Kaitou raced over to the scene of battle, standing between the crowd as the Shadow lifted itself off the ground. 'Well, shit. That's one hell of a cockblock...'
Oh well. There was nothing to do now but take a defensive stance and hope the thing would come down so he could slash at it...

As it would seem, the humans were able to take an attack or two. It didn't really matter too much, thankfully. The shadow hadn't really used even a fraction of its strength. And it was charging up for something especially nice. As it did this, it felt several more attacks come at it, as well as the nullification of a few elemental resistances. Looking back down at the humans, it continued its attack.
The first thing the shadow did was raise a hand that seemed to beckon the clouds of purple fumes to gather towards it. A moment later, the shadow threw its hand down at the group, sending the now dark purple fumes over them. Akira, Ringo, Amane, Luka, Rikki, Phoebe, Isolde, Brynhild, Pyxis, Alisa, and Maria have been hit with poison! Not a moment after, the shadow raised both hands in the air as a seemingly countless amount of spikes began to rise from the ground before pointing at the users. Then, the spikes shot down at them, dealing Major Pierce damage! However, this attack misses Akira, Sayu, Luka, Ally, Phoebe, John, Isolde, Brynhild, Pyxis, Xain, Gin, Holly, Vincent, and Kyle.
Finally, the boss looks over the users for a moment, selecting another target to touch. Spotting Phoebe, the shadow touches her gently for Severe Dark damage!

Everything was going as smoothly as could be expected from having to fight one obscenely powerful and one pretty damn powerful shadow at once. That was when a second one appeared. Not just any shadow either, it was that goddamn THING. A dark expression covered Holly's face for a moment, but it quickly passed and returned to one of her usual grins. If the other users knew what that was they'd undoubtedly try to murder it, probably even worse than she did when she was in that cave. Was it really right to say anything at all? It didn't take much thought on her part to see that it probably didn't even matter with how they were beating up that other shadow. A shadow was a shadow, even if this one would bring out a certain amount of rage, its fate was sealed the moment it walked into this place. Holding information back from her comrades was just unacceptable.
"Everyone!" she shouted loudly, even for her and pointed forcefully at Vice's shadow. "That shadow killed Vice. Beat the snot out of it for me will you? It's weak to wind and pierce and nulls slash and darkness!"
The godlike shadow was charging up for something, but Holly still needed to weaken all these enemies. With how many of these attacks were outright missing the users it might not be necessary to heal it all. Regardless, it was important to weaken the shadows as much as possible so that their attacks would hurt as little as possible and the other users' attacks would hurt as much as possible. If healing was necessary, Ran could take care of it if everyone was hurt.

John was still focused on the two shadows attacking the group when he could see an inhuman silhouette from the corner of his eye, He turned his head just in time to see an utterly terryfing wave of destruction coming right at him. He somehow managed to scramble behind a trock just in time to avoid the attack. Before he could even recover from that close call, another wave of destruction shook his hiding place. It seemed the second attack came from the direction of the extremely enraged shadow. The chaotic situation was quite confusing, esecially with all the dust gettiing kicked up by the giant waves of destruction being thrown around. john popped his head out from behind the now devestated rock and could feel something sharp brushing past his head. this time coming from the large poisonous shadow. Figuring all enemies had their turn attacking, he stepped out and readied his weapons and persona.
Then, a vaguely familair voice shout a single crushing sentence. "Everyone, that shadow killed Vice." John could not believe these words, the young adult... No, the mann he had met just a few days after discovering the power of persona. The man who had been a mentor to him, phoebe and probably many other people present here. Killed off by a shadow. Deep inside, John knew it to have always been a possibility. Yet he was not read to admit this obvious truth.
He turned towards the winged demon that had seemingl effortlessly devestated the battlefield. The other two shadows were completely locked out of his perception. He glared at the shadow with eyes filled with a deep, burning hatred. "You bastard!" The normally joking tone of his voice was gone, replaced with nearly incoherent screaming of primal anger. "Ill kill you! right here, right now!" He slowly but very intently stepped towards the shadow, completely ignoring the other shadows and even the other combatants in general. His now wordless screams of rage punctuated by the loud blasts of his shotgun.

Everyone else continued to attack the large shrine shadow while Luka simply prepared to launch an opening attack. While all of that was going on, Luka noticed the shadow that was targeting Akira launched a powerful attack. Jumping off to the side, she was just able to narrowly dodge it. Apparently a lot of people managed to get hit by it. And not a moment after, she noticed that people were hit with some sort of pure energy attack. It was rather familiar looking to the girl. Luckily, the attack completely missed her.
The boss shadow had its fair share of attacks as well. A poisonous one hit her, yet seemed to be ineffective. Then a rain of spikes came but failed to hit her as well. It seemed that all of those debuffs that Holly was laying down were really doing the trick.
After the attack, Holly seemed to grab everyone's attention as she directed it at a mysterious shadow that launched that almighty attack. What she said though, was hard to take in. The shadow that she pointed to, supposedly killed Vice. Come to think of it, he wasn't here. Luka had no choice but to trust Holly on this; not that she was about to doubt her. And naturally, she already knew that he was immune to dark, so taking him out wouldn't be too much of an issue. She would just have to put off her assault another turn to break down that resistance. Rather than focusing on the boss, Luka cast another Dark Break; this time on the supposed shadow of Vice.

The girl watched as that rampaging shadow sent out an attack that was aimed at everyone. Thankfully, the girl completely nulled whatever kind of attack it was. The boss shadow's attacks? Completely missed. As for the mysterious energy attack that seemed to come out of nowhere, Ally completely dodged it. Naturally, the girl seemed to be on a roll with all of these dodges. Looking off to her side, she saw the blonde girl from the mission she took yelling out the strengths and weaknesses of that new shadow that showed up. Catching a glimpse of it, the girl simply ignored it since it was certainly not the one that she was interested in.
Instead, the girl looked back towards the main boss and decided to lob another bomb at it, hoping to land a strong blow. She wasn't doing nearly as much damage as some of these other people, but she lacked offensive capabilities aside from her own. it was something she still took pride in, as weak as it may be.
