He had been hit by a powerful blow against his weakness. It hurt, but he could stand against worse. Then he was hit with another critical, but in a way that he was able to reduce the pain. However, he had been hit with a powerful attack that he had been able to nullify any damage. Still, he was slightly irritated when he saw the one girl heal all but him. Then again, he hadn't given her much reason to trust him to begin with. He was able to understand, but that didn't make anything better. He was still hurt.
He started to growl at the moon. Not only had it and it's counterpart hurt him, but it had hurt the humans. Gin didn't really know or care about most of them, but he did know a couple and he knew they were in bad shape. One human had glared at him, one that he had seen in the bookstore. That meant nothing to Gin, but he watched as Phoebe talked to him. He was interested, but he also knew he had to focus on the other shadow. If the moon fell, the wall would fall. that was all that he needed to know.
He felt another powerful strike attack that, of course, hit him harder than it normally would have. He groaned under the strain of taking multiple powerful hits from his weakness, but he was still able to stand. He realized that nothing would have the humans really accept him as an ally, but he had need to try. He was receiving hits from all sides. With a slight bit of strain, he addressed the humans who were trapped alongside him.
"People, don't you trust me?" He was joking, as he knew they had no reason to trust him. "I'm going against my own kind, and it's apparent that they are stronger than me. Least you could do is keep me alive long enough that I can help defeat these. Phoebe," he said and looked at her. "Don't worry about me. I'll help with the fight and be on my way. You there, girl." He turned to face the one he had fought against. "I understand your unwillingness to assist me. I apologize for past actions, okay? I was acting stupid and my survival instincts kicked in." He then spoke to the group as a whole.
"I may not be the most conventional ally you've ever had, but you can at least bear with me long enough that we kill these. If anyone has issues with that, let me know. If not, can I please have someone who gives me enough trust to let me help long enough to make a difference?" He concentrated a bit, then felt some of his power flow then manifest as light surrounding the moon shadow.
