Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
The local amusement park on Mosaic Beach was dead quiet. This was a natural occurrence when it was this late in the night. The park was completely empty aside from a custodian or two wandering about. Though, one of them was taking their time in the bathroom at this moment. This moment being the moment when time began to slow to a halt much like it had a few times in the recent months.
The sky grew dark yet the full moon shone down on the city below. Nothing menacing seemed to appear in the city, but if one were to look up to the sky, they would notice something flying about. It couldn't be a bird as they all had ceased movement along with everything else in the world. Yet this black figure soared through the air without regard for the strange laws of reality put in place during this special time period.
But naturally, all things that go up must also come down. The figure soared through the air for a time until it decided to come down to the ground below. Slowly, its small figure began to grow in size as it neared the ground revealing a rather large winged presence. Resembling a black drake of some sort, the creature perched atop one of the nearby roller coasters before letting out a bellowing roar. A moment later, it began to climb down the length of the coaster until it was near the ground as if surveying the area. And like always, a tremendous amount of power emanated from its body.
Xain looked up as the sky went dark green. He followed a reading of intense strength all the way to the amusement park. Next month, they're going to tear through an apartment building. Or a ski... Resort... While the android hoped he was wrong, he still needed to take out the current enemy.
Said enemy manifested as a bird. Xain sighed, then summoned Dominion. He willed for a Poison Arrow, which the divine being obliged. The robot sincerely hoped that the bird was weak to pierce, or, better yet, susceptible to poison. That would make things so much easier. If only...

When Gin witnessed the Dark Hour changes, he recognized where the power was coming from. He quickly changed into the form of a giant white tiger and bounded off towards the amusement park. He didn't even consider the fact that he won't be greeted in a pleasant matter until he was already there. Oh well. Too late now, he thought.
He realized that a small group had already formed and started attacking. He only recognized the one person: the girl who sparred with him alongside Phoebe. He couldn't remember her name, but he'd ask later. All he did for now was set up a Tarukaja to boost everyone's strength.

It was routine at this point. Thankfully Ringo was in good condition. Better than last time was all he can say. Thankfully the power his persona was sensing was at a familiar place. He was nearby that beach last time. Ringo ran on into the amusement park. It was then he saw the flying figure in the sky. He drew Hime and started to look over at where it was going to land. It seems that the only way he can hit it is with a persona.
"Tokoyo! Tokoyo appeared and swung her sword, sending a jolt of electricity at the creature perched on top of the roller coaster.

The clock beat midnight and the city ground to a halt. It hadn't changed while John had been lazing off, but this was the first in about three full moons he had decided to participate in once more. It wasn't hard to locate the shadow that had invaded the city tonight. It quite visibly soared through the sky. Although it was kind of hard to follow due to its black coloration. Regardless, John double checked his loadout and set off after the great beast.
It appeared John had arrived late to the party again. Multiple other combatants were already present and barraging the monster with a wide spectrum of elemental attacks. Taking some time to work out what element had yet to be tested, John decided to fire his shotgun to see how pierce attacks would fare against this adversary. What elements had yet to be tested were not yet within his capabilities.
Pyxis would be lying if she said she wasn't a little bit impatient this time around. When fighting shadows on a day to day basis became almost literal level grinding, it was hard to not anticipate something bigger. Fortunately, the full moon was as reliable as ever, and when that night came around, she was already prepared for it. She'd gone ahead of Alisa to, once again, scout out potential targets. The amusement park still seemed like a safe bet, but she didn't want to make the same mistake as last time.
So, she wasn't right next to the place when a shadow appeared there, but she was close enough to be one of the first to show up. "Here we go again," she said, catching sight of the big black drake climbing down one of the roller coasters. And...well, 'Gin' was there as well, back to keeping up pretenses of being on their side. No matter. He'd proven himself an enemy. He would be dealt with as such.
A towering figure materialized behind Pyxis as she summoned her Persona. Rather than the woman in the shining dress that most of the people here would recognize, it was now a titan in a red cloak, carrying a torch blazing with white fire. The titan Prometheus raised the torch high, letting its light fall on the battlefield. And where the light didn't touch, the darkness moved on its own, twisting into scenes depicting gods, titans, and monsters warring with each other. And with that scene of divine warfare, an intense wave of physical force ripped through the battlefield.

Layla was rather halfhearted towards the whole ordeal at this point. She was there, of course. The moment midnight fell and time froze, she had gone looking for the source of the overwhelming feeling accompanying it. But even as she made her way there, she had to wonder if this was really accomplishing anything. There hadn't been any change in their situation despite taking down so many strong opponents. No...if anything, things had gotten worse recently.
But still, she showed up. Whatever happened, she did still want to protect the city while she had a chance. She just had to hope that something would present itself that would change their fortunes eventually. And once that was taken care of, maybe even her own as well. It didn't stop her from feeling more than a little bit out of it as she summoned Vajrabhairava and causing an explosion of light to erupt from the ground beneath their opponent though.

Anna was set to arrive on the battlefield in style. She'd been waiting on top of the mountain for night to fall, and then for midnight and the Dark Hour. Once it did and time froze, however, she summoned Thunderbird immediately and flew out over the city, following the oppressing sensation of a strong enemy to its source. She realized her destination before reaching it: the amusement park. Interesting choice. There was a lot of potential to cause serious damage there, but they had to think about keeping the enemy from rampaging across more of the city first. So, as she approached, Anna swooped in low over the roller coaster where the drake-like creature was climbing around, letting the windstorm stirred up by Thunderbird rip through its wake as she passed. It would be close enough to heavily damage it assuming the drake didn't nullify it. But, if it did, Anna would have a response for that too.
As she finished her pass, Anna guided Thunderbird to touch down near the gathering Users, and looked over them as they approached. Most of them, she recognized from the last fight, although the two newbies from last time didn't seem to be there yet. Even though she hadn't yet managed to work out a good time to help them, she did at least hope they'd show up. Worst case scenario, it would be a repeat of last time.

Amane slid by the doors of the amusement park as soon as she saw the large flying creature. It was time for another monthly clean up. She gripped her shinai and started to run on over after it. Since it has air mobility no doubt it will be a touch difficult to hit. However, it decided to perch itself on top of a rollercoaster. This was perfect. With this anyone who would arrive can get clean hits on it. Amane's eyes began to glow.
"Viviane" Appearing before Amane was the lady of the lake. She swing her blade, sending a powerful spiral of wind after the creature.

Jaelyn stepped through the gates of the amusement park shortly after midnight, gazing up at the frozen sky. She let out a soft sigh before heading deeper in. This was definitely the place. She could feel it from the unpleasant sensation that pulled her deeper into the park. An unearthly roar had come from within earlier, as well. A short walk later, after she got around several food stalls and gift shops, she saw it: a great big reptilian creature crawling on a roller coaster.
"A dragon?" Jaelyn asked to no one in particular, continuing towards the battlefield despite suddenly having a bad feeling about it. "Fuck me..." And really, that's what she would have preferred. She would much rather have stayed home and spent the night with Sakuya again. But she had resolved, after sitting out and recovering last month, that she would come back this time around. And here she was.
"Well, might as well do what I can, I guess," Jaelyn said, summoning Caligula. The hedonistic emperor raised his gladius high, and an flare of light, heat, and flame erupted from a spot overhead to burn any enemies in the area.
Fortunately, that count was all of one at the moment, at least unless the dumb tiger tried to pull anything this time.

It was a full moon on a certainly auspicious date. I had been feeling a bit lazy to go myself, so I let Pyxis go ahead first. I recalled her scouting gig was actually at the park by the Mosaic Beach. I had been here a couple of times before but not for any really good reasons. Regardless, as before I had left the apartment I was actually changing my chest binds. So I had to quickly get dressed, and just snatched the maid uniform Pyxis had given to me before, pretenses be damned, as I quickly rushed over to the beach and soon enough saw a handful of people already there. Pyxis, naturally had already summoned her Persona to attack. I looked up at the sky and noticed that it was a drake. I wasn't sure if it was a Shadow or a demon. It looked very powerful, too...
Ah well. No real big deal. I ran over to Pyxis and scratched the back of my head. "Sorry, hun, I'm a little late to the party." Looks like many of us were already launching attacks at the drake. I would be no exception. "Alright, let's see what this thing's got." I smiled and called forth Vasuki, who materialized behind me and soon we charged balls of light once more to power the ion orbital light cannon. This time I knew not to abuse it and rely on my other spells too. I caught Gin at the corner of my eye too. I knew him a good deal now. I still wasn't sure whether to trust him. But I won't push any aggression on him myself.

Post by Tristan Carter on Jun 14, 2014 1:59:07 GMT -5
Tristan sensed the oncoming of the Dark Hour as it descended; he had no need to look outside and see that everything had changed. On top of that, he knew when it was coming due to the former Tristan's knowledge of it occurring on the full moon.
Both of these contributed to why the shadow was wandering down to the amusement park in the dead of night. Another reason was this: Tristan felt a need to go there in the stead of the former Tristan. He didn't understand, but he wasn't going to argue with himself.
Besides, if he stayed hidden, he could monitor the Users with his own- stolen- eyes. It would also help him decide his allegiance. As of now, he couldn't quite make up his mind. He could fight with the humans as a friend, in the name of his predecessor, or he could stay with his kind. It wasn't an easy choice.
Either way he decided, though, he couldn't compromise his identity. So, before anyone could manage a glance behind them, the shadow ducked behind a ticket booth. He was simply watching for now.

This time, Setsuna was ready for this. She invented an excuse to be out past midnight, so that her parents wouldn't be worried about her coming home late. In anticipation for this night, she even got a little extra training under her belt, and she couldn't have felt more ready for this. Of course, "felt" was the key word in that last sentence. Once she actually saw what they were going up against, she suddenly wasn't so sure. "Oh...a giant-ass dragon...this would be so cool if it wasn't probably trying to kill us..." Either way, way, it was pretty safe to assume what the enemy was, she she readied herself for battle. She began looking around, noticing some semi-familiar faces already on the battlefield.
However, there was one that stood out among the others "J-jaelyn?!" Almost immediately, her face turned red. She could hardly believe that she was here. Of course, there was no real reason for her to not be here, but it caught her off guard nonetheless. But this was no time to be distracted by her rather obvious crush on the other woman. There was a large dragon to take care of. Either way, she set her sights on the dragon, and after taking a few seconds to concentrate, she was able to summon Undine. Indeed, she had been training herself lately, and she could now summon her Persona without her Evoker.
This was a pretty huge step for her, so she was feeling rather confident about it. Once Undine had appeared, she called out to her "Give it an icy blast!" Undine nodded, and a small pillar of ice was immediately launched at the large creature. Summary: Obvious crush on Jaelyn is obvious. Also, Undine used Bufula.

When Kami woke up in the middle of the night, he didn't understand why he was feeling so... wrong. It felt like the air itself was trying to kill him, even though it was still breathable. It felt like... It feels like I'm out of the safe circle, he thought as he jumped out of bed. He quickly got ready, with only one horrified look at the sky. What the hell is going on?
When he got outside, he noticed no noise. The world had gone dead quiet... and the coffins on the street weren't exactly doing anything but creeping the boy out. Still, Kami knew there was something wrong and started running. The oppressive felling only got worse and worse the further he went, until he found the source.
A giant dragon was perched on the Ferris Wheel at the amusement park. There were also: people who were summoning creatures to fight for them using the same spells as the things outside and a giant tiger who was being attacked by one of the before mentioned people. It took Kami more than a minute to realize what he was seeing.
When he snapped out of it finally, he realized that he should help in any way he can. So, he took aim and fired off a few rounds at the dragon. Who knows how much help it will do, but it can't hurt, right?
Slowly crawling along the length of the roller coaster, the drake felt something pierce it in the side. It hurt quite a bit. And then, more attacks flew at him. Those that were classified as pierce attacks seems to do more than the other attacks. Dark attacks seemed to do absolutely nothing, but fire seemed to not only be ineffective, but heal the drake. All other attacks seemed to do decent damage otherwise.
Realizing that it was under heavy fire, the drake spread its wings and jumped down from the coaster onto the concrete floor below. It looked over those present with a quick glance before letting out a roar. One could see sparks of fire deep within its belly when its mouth opened up.
Before making any attacks, the drake stood up on its hind legs before lifting its wings in the air. Strong gusts of wind begin pulling everything towards the drake! Once done, the drake drops back down on all fours. The drake now seems much faster! The enemy team's speed fell by two stacks!
Taking a deep breath, the black drake's chest began to light up bright red. Opening its mouth, the creature let out a blast of flames at the enemy, hitting everyone for major fire damage!
Finally, lifting its tail in the air, the drake stabbed down at the first person it glanced at. Alisa is hit for severe pierce damage! She is also inflicted with poison!
